Through history, people have been amazed by people with brilliant minds and special abilities.

Some parents priories the teaching of their gifted children, and offer them better academic opportunities than others, while some parents want to keep their children in a plain environment where they will not be able to develop their special abilities. In my opinion a gifted child should take the maximum advantage from their extraordinary qualities. Gifted children are much more solvent with their responsibilities. These human beings can ensure that they will respond to the high investments which parents or organizations could make. Most of the efforts inside the area of Special Education are aimed to the attention of the subgifted, physical and mental deficient or marginalized, with views to the recovering of disability and defects correction, focusing more about solutions than prevention, implying a very high socioeconomic cost; However, a sector of the population known as gifted, most of the times is left without attention, maybe because is considered that as they possess outstanding abilities, theres no need an intervention work with them. If gifted people are correctly prepared according to their extraordinary capacities, in a future they can make a big difference with their contribution. To illustrate, one of the greatest minds of our time, Bill Gates had been educated by the most prestigious educational institutions like Harvard University and Lake Side Elite School; nowadays he is the mastermind behind Microsoft Inc. If they are trained to use their sense of curiosity correctly, they can make amazing discovers. To exemplify, Sigmund Freud had been highly supported by his parents to develop his capacities by himself, giving the world the perfect portal to enter human mind. For all this reasons is much better investing time and money on gifted people. Their contributions can make this world a better place to live in. Gifted people can be specialized to teach normal and gifted people new intellectual abilities. To illustrate, Andrew Almazn, a 16 years old Mexican young man, is about to get his degree on Psychology, besides being cursing Medicine career and he had recently opened the Center of Attention to Talent (CEDAT) by its Spanish acronym, where gifted children are able to develop their special talents. They can use their gift to improve peoples life. For example, Alexander Fleming, a great Scottish scientist discovered the benefits of the Penicillium chrysogenum fungi as an antibiotic; today, we would still suffer of serious infections if Alexander Fleming had not made this highly important discover. Because of their high sense of ignoring their needs and caring other peoples, they can be great examples of persistence and collaboration. To illustrate, Steven Hawking is one of the most important physicists now days, even thought his body developed a moving neural disease which doesnt allow him to move, he was and is still persistent about his discoveries and theories; today Steven is known all over the world for his theory of the black holes in the outer space and their capacities to alter space and time. For all this reason their discoveries can make a big difference in peoples life. They need a different academic education because of their special intellectual needs. Their future is much more promising comparing it to other peoples. For example, Academic organizations prefer invest on gifted children to take advantage of their capacities so they can work to benefit not only to themselves, but also to scientific community and to the world. Gifted people are not normal; if they are educated like the average people, they can have serious psychological problems. To illustrate, Ludwig van Beethoven, one of the most important figures in the music world, had serious problems because of his temperament, this was due to his poor academic education while he was a kid, and his sad family life. Gifted people are very introverts and can turn very violent if they are frustrated, their frustration develops because they cannot satisfy their curiosity with average education, and they need special education so they can feel happy with what they have learned. For example, the famous painter Vincent Van Gogh had bipolar disorder; this mental illness made him cut his ear as the result of the disgust that caused the news of his brother Theo getting married. These are the reasons why a gifted person needs special education. In conclusion, gifted people are very special human beings that need our support and comprehension, their world is completely different to ours, we wouldnt have everything we have today if it wasnt for them and their discoveries. If we care about gifted people they can make this world a better place to live in.
