Indoor Sports Club

Converted the vacant room besides Computer room into Hostel ISC Room. Made the first intra hostel Bridge Club including more than 20 participants showing enthusiasm to learn the game which lead to an awareness about the game as the practice was done every day. Bridged the gap between the seniors and freshers by providing a common platform for them to play games like scrabble, chess, bridge and carom. Organised a workshop for Chess and also made an intra hostel chess club for the chess enthusiasts to interact. For the first time internationally approved FIDE(International Chess body) Chess boards were bought in the hostel and also shared personal collection of chess books and softwares with Chess enthusiasts. Carom Boards, Pool Sticks, Pool cards were bought in the Hostel.

PAHS
Darts, Number Games books and Roller Skates were bought. The entries of Photography and Graphic Designing Competition have been framed and hung on hostel wall. Workshop for Photoshop has been held to facilitate people to learn Graphic Designing.

FAC
Drastic change in the performance in this club from getting Zero points in last few years to getting First Prizes in two major events and thus ending Fourth in the overall Tally. Entries of Charcoal and Oil Painting have been framed and put up on hostel walls to inspire other people to take part.

HS, QC and EDLC

Intra Hostel events for Dumb-C, literary events, Quizzing and debating were constantly kept in the hostel to start a culture of Hindi Samiti. Much work has been done to create a database to be used for future events.

DnD, FSC and Music

Culture of these clubs has been taken up to further heights by getting into top three positions in events like Duo Dance, Eastern Night and Movie Quiz. Workshops for Dance, Dramatics, Guitar Playing, Video making have been kept at regular intervals by Senior Students.

OVERALL

First time the Hostel came up with its Logo and title SATPURA SAMURAIS. About 60% of the Hostel budget has already been used for different clubs. Intra Hostel fest ZEPHYR is being organised this weekend to explore out hidden talent from the hostel in an enjoyable atmosphere. Every month, every Rep submitted a report of the work done by him during this time which helped in efficient work management. Certificated for last semester have already been made and issued to the students to stop forgery and prevent any future complications.
