BANANAS

12 billion bullets are produced each year almost enough to shoot everyone on the planet, twice!

Please join us for this moving film which chronicles the remarkable story of the courageous Liberian women who came together to end a bloody civil war and bring peace to their shattered country. A story of sacrifice, unity and transcendence, Pray the Devil Back to Hell honors the strength and perseverance of the women of Liberia. Inspiring, uplifting, and most of all motivating, it is a compelling testimony of how grassroots activism can alter the history of nations. DATE: 14 June 2012 TIME: 7.00pm VENUE: Cronulla Central 38-60 Croydon St (Disabled access avail) COST: $15 per person RSVP: amnesty.sutherlandshire@gmail.com

Were campaigning for stronger international laws to combat human suffering enabled by the irresponsible trade of arms. A strong Arms Trade Treaty could save hundreds of thousands of lives every year. World leaders will come together at the United Nations in New York in July 2012 to decide on adopting an Arms Trade Treaty. This is a historic opportunity to curb irresponsible arms transfers that fuel human rights abuses. Please join us in support of this campaign.
