FirmLok Interlock Terras FirmLok prevents crosscontamination by ensuring that only one pass-through door at a time can open. The moment a door is opened, the latch engages a stainless steel catch to lock out the opposing door. The highly reliable interlock design is rated for thousands of trouble-free operations. The dual heavy-gauge latch mechanisms retract inside the easy-clean stainless steel housing when not engaged.

Installing Your Pass-Through Chamber All Terra Pass-Through Chambers include two sets of stainless steel mounting brackets, which require 0.25" clearance between the wall cut-out and the chamber. Standard mounting allows 2" of the chamber to protrude on the cleanroom side, with the remainder of the chamber resting on the wall and protruding to the dirty side. The cleanroom side bracket is welded in place, and the other bracket is bolted to the opposite side of the wall. Support braces are recommended for chambers with a depth 36", or for chambers with heavy loads.

Converts any Terra pass-through into a low-humidity storage desiccator, with convenient access from either side! This module automatically controls a nitrogen purge to the pass-through to maintain any sub-ambient set point (to 0%RH). UV Sterilization Modules
Terra provides several UV sterilization solutions (254 or 365 nm) to meet specific requirements, including timed sterilization cycles with interlocked doors. Call to discuss your specifications! A. External programmable control module allows adjustment of sterilization cycle duration. During sterilization, doors are locked and warning alarms are activated. B. UV sterilization and exhaust ventilation cycles operate under time control whenever a door is opened and closed. Safety shut-off cuts power to the sterilization module when a door opens.

CleanTop 304 Stainless Steel Sloping Top
In most applications, pass-throughs extend only 2" into a cleanroom to minimize clearance requirements and surfaces that could collect particles. The CleanTop is designed for installations that require the chamber to be centered in the wall. The 30 sloping top on clean room side minimizes particles and accommodates laminar flow. BioSafe Stainless Steel Pass-Through Chambers Optimized for Aseptic Biological and Pharmaceutical Requirements These unique Pass-Throughs feature all-continuous-seam welds with radius corners to produce ultra-clean, smooth internal surfaces that wipe down quickly and easily. Their no-lip design eliminates clearance restrictions and gives you full use of the chamber interior. This design simplifies the transfer of materials into and out of the cleanroom or laboratory. All components of these chambers have been engineered to optimize cleanliness and simplify disinfection. The doors feature inset polyurethane, a durable, chemically resistant, non-contaminating elastomer, which seals against the raised edge along the chamber perimeter. This bioseal eliminates the need for adhesive gaskets that can creep, crack and outgas. Doors are available with and without tempered glass viewing windows. Both styles can be easily removed after pass-through installation, allowing you to interchange models. They are also designed to be steam sterilized to help maintain an aseptic environment.
Unique Pass-Through Interlock Eliminates CrossContamination The rugged interlock mechanism prevents the handle and latch of either door from moving when the opposing door is open, protecting your cleanroom or laboratory from contamination during material transfer. The rugged latch pins ensure that an interlocked door cannot be forced open. The isolated interlock design further optimizes cleanliness. Because the mechanism is mounted in its own, narrow-profile housing, the inside of the pass-through chamber itself remains unobstructed and easy to sterilize. All models include two sets of stainless steel mounting brackets, which help support the chamber and cover the wall cut-out. Standard configuration is a mounting bracket welded 2" from the front of the chamber on the clean side; the remaining bracket is bolted to the wall on the dirty side of the wall and fits tightly against the chamber. This design accommodates walls of varying thicknesses and ensures minimal intrusion into valuable cleanroom space. Specify other desired bracket location when ordering.
Removable racks allow easy cleaning and sterilization
Removable Rack and Shelf System Simplifies Cleaning All models are available with removable stainless steel racks that accommodate sliding stainless steel shelves. Racks are easy to remove or retrofit into existing cabinets. Each side panel features a locking mechanism at each corner that fixes the unit in place with the turn of a screw. To clean or sterilize the chamber, you simply remove shelves and loosen these screws to remove the rack panels. The positioning system requires no modification to the chamber interior, so it remains ultra-smooth and easy to sterilize. Fire-rated access panels carry the UL-B label for 90-minute fire exposure (suitable for 2-hour wall rating) 304 stainless steel chamber provides a durable, chemicalresistant pass-through hatch Access door on non-rated side includes LiftLatch and static-dissipative PVC viewing window Durable mechanical interlock mechanism ensures that only one door at a time can open, thereby preventing cross contamination These pass-through chambers are designed for installation in a fire-rated cleanroom or laboratory wall. Each chamber features a 2.56"-thick, non-insulated 304 stainless steel access panel (door) with a pull handle. Its one-inch exposed flange can be mounted on any typical wall material. These modules bear a UL- listed B label for 1.5 hours in walls (maximum temperature rise to 250F in 30 minutes). This self-closing door is fabricated of 304 stainless steel and includes a flush continuous piano hinge and opening knob. Two stainless steel chamber designs are available. Roll-Up Door Pass-Throughs

This unique, space-saving pass-through features dual-side segmented doors that automatically roll up and down at the push of a PLC control pad. This design eliminates door clearance requirements and makes it easy for gloved personnel to operate while holding parts. Motorized lifters are sealed inside a noncontaminating housing.
(1) Includes mounting brackets made of stainless steel. All brackets require 1/4" clearance between wall cutout and pass-through. Standard mounting is 2" from the front of the cleanroom side (specify other desired location). Bracket on cleanroom side is welded in place; remaining bracket attaches to opposing side of wall.

Pass-Through Air Shower

These Pass-Through Air Showers offer an effective way to remove surface-deposited particles on carts as you transfer them into the clean room. Adjustable nozzles provide concentrated streams of high-velocity HEPA-filtered air that lifts off contaminants, which are purged through vents along the bottom of the chamber. Nozzles are arranged uniformly on walls to ensure effective distribution of filtered air. The closed-loop circulation design directs contaminated air downward through grills and hollow walls of the Air Shower and back to the filter, which removes 99.99% of all particles as small as 0.3 microns. Interlocking doors prevent unnecessary contamination inflow and thereby prevent cross-contamination of the cleanroom. They automatically release in the event of a power failure. Clean, Versatile Construction

The modular design of the ValuLine Air Shower allows simple, versatile integration of the unit into Terras standard Hardwall Modular Cleanrooms. The top and bottom steel supports interlock into the cleanroom frame structure, allowing positioning either outside or inside the enclosure at any point along the cleanroom perimeter. The unit can also be installed along an internal cleanroom wall to provide an air lock between rooms of differing cleanliness classifications. In this application, users have the option of operating the air shower or not, depending on cleanroom protocol. Double-wall polypropylene construction with 100% sealed seams ensures clean operation and resistance to a wide range of chemicals, including most acids and cleaning formulations.

This work station is ideal for soldering or chemical processing that requires the removal of potentially hazardous fumes. Its powerful 1200 CFM blower draws exhaust fumes downward, away from the operator, for safe removal and purification. The activated charcoal filter removes 98% of most organic chemical vapors, allowing safe release. Benchtops, made of cleanroom-grade white laminate, raise the work surface 32" off the floor. Exhaust fumes enter the filter through three perforated stainless steel platforms positioned at the center of the work surface. Specify other desired platform sizes or locations.
