PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY: #1: On June 7th, the knitters are gathering for a pot luck lunch social at a cottage to begin our summer break. If you are able to come, please call Nancy Smith at 433-3183 or Jan Leitch at 433-9258 for details. #2: The knitters have put their needles away for a break until the fall, but we have some shawls in reserve to gift over the summer, as the need arises. Since January of this year, 15 shawls have been given to our parishioners, bringing the total to 47 since we began 2 years ago. We have an ongoing need for donations to replenish our yarns so we have placed envelopes for this purpose at both entrances to the church and these can be placed in the collection basket. A sincerest thank you from the knitters for your continued support of this ministry. We are very blessed to have such generous hearts in our parish and we could not do this work without you. Blessed be..
