The year of the rabbit - A simple origami rabbit

Cut a piece of paper card 30cm x 30cm. Fold it in half to form a triangle.

Fold your paper card in two. Then open it out again. Place it with the point upwards, as shown.

Fold the bottom or your triangle upwards, as show to form a boat-like shape.

Fold each of the bottom corners, in the direction of the arrows shown. Keep the middle join very close.

Things you need:
scissors stick glue light cardboard - we used 30cm x 30cm decorations - eyes, pipecleaners, card or colouring pens

To make a little stand for your rabbit, fold the bottom point upwards. Turn your rabbit over.

Your rabbit needs a face. Either glue eyes and whiskers on or draw the with pens. We used pipe cleaners and cardboard for our whiskers.
