VHF/UHF Exciters and Transposers

Electrosys presents its line of TV exciters and low power transmitters/transposers featuring user friendly modular design, excellent performance and best reliability. The exciter and transposer can operate in any channel within band I, III or IV-V. Models are available for all common TV standards and colour systems and are fully compatible with all sound systems. All functions are designed as plug-in cards. This feature allows easy The access or replacement of any card and simple upgrades according to the users needs. The exciter can operate with combined or separate amplification of vision and sound carriers. The single exciter in conjunction with an appropriate notch filter can also be used as a low power transmitter. The transposer differs from an exciter/transmitter only because it is equipped with the receiver section instead of the modulation section. Exciters and transposers are arranged in a single 194HE mainframe. Each mainframe is equipped with an easily removable high efficiency switch-mode power supply. Models are available from 2Wps up to 100Wps output power. The final stage amplification is achieved by means of broadband solid state amplifiers, available in several versions depending on the nominal output power and the band. The oscillator allows synthesizer tuning for precision offset and means no drift and no tuning ever. Advanced IF precorrection circuits ensure uncompromised signal performance. Directional couplers are utilized to control both the forward and reflected power. ISO 9001:2000 certification assures the quality of Electrosys equipment in every step from design up to production and proves the state-of-the-art design of our transmitter to meet the requirements of the worlds most demanding broadcasters.

The front panel multifunction analogue meter and the rotary switch for measurement section allow for straightforward and immediate monitoring of the main parameters. The for exciter and for transposer versions slightly different measurements are shown in the list below. Moreover, AF Inputs, Video Inputs, IF Modulator: these plugins perform the modulation of input signals to IF frequency. As a lowpower transposer it differs from an exciter only because it is equipped with the receiver section in place of the modulator just replacing three plugins (as shown in figure below, in order from left to right: RF/IF Converter, Local Oscillator, IF Amplifier.)
