All candidates are directed to keep in touch with the website of the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education at www.webscte.org for any further information / notification in respect of counselling and admission. Scheduled Caste/Tribe, Physically Challenged (PC) candidates are directed to produce the Caste Certificate or Physically Challenged Certificates in original from the competent authority (Issued on or before 25.02.2012) at the time of counselling without which their claim for reserved seats will not be entertained. The counselling will be made till availability of seats and the counselling will be stopped when the seats are filled-up. All candidates will have to pay a non-refundable counselling fee of Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred) only in the form of demand draft drawn in favour of West Bengal State Council of Technical Education payable at Kolkata. If selected for admission and a seat is allotted, the candidate will have to pay an amount of Rs.2,000/- (Rupees two thousand) only through CASH (For private polytechnic additional fees may have to be submitted in the respective polytechnic). A Medical Fitness Certificate in the format given below will have to be obtained from Government Medical Officer / Medical Officer of a Government Undertaking and to be submitted in original at the time of counselling. It may be noted that in no other form this certificate will be accepted. Medical Certificates issued by Registered Medical Practitioners will also be accepted.

Candidates must bring the following documents in original for verification at the time of issuance of allotment letter: i) Admit Card of Madhyamik / equivalent examination as age proof ii) Mark sheet of Madhyamik / equivalent examination iii) Mark Sheet of (10+2) Vocational Examination iv) VOCLET-2012 Admit Card v) NCVT Certificate vi) Cast Certificate in original (for reserved category candidates only) vii) Physically Challenged certificate in original (for PC candidates only) viii) Counterfoil of application form ix) Medical Certificate in prescribed format Secretary West Bengal State Council of Technical Education
