Answer : No, because that seven condition is the suitable condition for do hydrometallurgy process (to make it easy, efficiency, and economically). If one of them is no supported example cheap reagents it conflicted with the purpose of the hydrometallurgy process that leaching agents must be dissolve the valuabe metals as much and as economically.

2. What is the differences of hydrometallurgy and pyrometallurgy preparation step?? Answer : There is no differences preparation step between both of them. Each preparation step have their characteristics and goals to make the ores are easy to be extracted in the extraction process. What make its differences is it depends on what ores (valuable mineral) that you want to extracted.

Example : if there is a condition the type of ore must be prepared for chemical preparation without physical preparation (e.x sand iron) but, sometimes we must do the physical preparation step to other type of iron ore. Answer : The purpose is to make the reaction rate of leaching process more faster. Because with reducing the size of the ores, the surface area will enlarge and influence the reaction rate at leaching process. The more larger the surface area of solids which reacted the more faster rate of reaction. However, the more smaller the surface area of solids which reacted the more slower rate of reaction occurs.

2. And how it happens ?? Answer : It happens because the reactions in liquid particles collide with the solid particles, increasing the surface area of solids increases the possibility of collision increases. the smaller the surface area of the touch area, the smaller the inter-particle collisions that occur, the larger surface area of the touch area, the larger interparticle collisions that occur.

Summary Question :

3. Is that true pelletizing is the part of chemical preparation step? Answer : Yes, because in the process of making pellet it contain lime, coal and fine ore. In this case coke are used as fuels and also as reducing agent. Whereas this purpose is the chemical preparation step. [Rosenqvist, Terkel. Principles of Extractive Metallurgy. 2nd Edition.
