A ce is ready for its Summer to commence!

All of our high school players had a great season and are ready to restart their USTA tournaments along with intensify their training to succeed in their competitions. This summer ACE players will go through their training on court and "off" court. They will amp up their hours to perfect their technique, their tactics, their mental, and their overall tness to produce the elite tennis players that ACE is known for. Our players will also be traveling to the Winnetka Challenger in July as well as the Western & Southern Open in Cincinnati, which will showcase the best players on the ATP and WTA tour. Summer is a special time for ACE as our training intensies, our activities grow, and ACE players spend more time together. Our players will work hard and represent ACE in the best manner they know, which is pure Excellence!

ACE Advice
Be all that you can be! I often get the questions by players, parents, coaches and spectators, "should young men and women play collegiate tennis?" The answer is a resounding YES! Colleges look for individuals who have separated themselves from the crowd. They seek young men and women who have the qualities that sport, tennis in this case, teaches you; leadership, commitment, time management, and problem solving skills. As we are told to diversify our nancial portfolios, make sure you diversify your skills. There will be many more colleges and career opportunities waiting for you! Remember, that you only live once and you should maximize your time (refer to quote below).

Defending Champ: Novak Djokovic Women: French Open May 27- June10 Defending Champ: Li Na Women: Wimbledon June 25 - July 8 Defending Champ: Petra Kvitova

Weapon Choice of the Month:

Prince EXO 3 Rebel 95
The racket of choice for Gael Monls, the Bryan Brothers, and now some of our ACE players. This racket has received some high reviews and has been welcomed by our players. It denitely is a player's frame with a 95 sq in head and weight of 12 oz (346 g for us that use the metric system). The EXO 3 technology gives the racket a bigger sweet spot making it more forgiving. If you like big groundies and a powerful serve this is the racket for you!

Food For Thought:
I would rather regret the things that I have done than the things that I have not
