Youth Group
Were making Chaparral into a park!
We need items that will help create a National Park environment
for the kids for our AWESOME VBS this year! Please think about
what you might already have that could add to a National Park
theme.
Got an articial Christmas Tree we can borrow?
We need articial Christmas trees, camping tents, big ol' stuffed
animals (forest animals), tree logs, silk plants, pine cones, items
you might nd in a cabin or in a ranger station (old maps). Its
going to be super fun for the kids to come into our own national
park!
We would appreciate your help and will return
your donations at the end of VBS. Please
make sure your name and phone number is on
each item so we can return them to you
promptly! Please contact the Church ofce
(480-991-9878) or Tracy Drury (602-494-9255)
with your ideas and contributions.

Can we help?
If we can assist you by providing a walker or
wheelchair on Sunday morning, please call the
Church ofce during the week and we can have one
ready for you (480-991-9878).
Choir - Looking to Join?
For anyone who might be contemplating
joining our Adult Choir...there will not be choir
rehearsals this summer. However, our
wonderful choir will provide music in Worship
Services every Sunday through July.
Save the DATE!
Chaparral will host a good-bye celebration for the
Armes on Sunday night, July 15
th
. Details to be
determined. We are putting together a
remembrance scrapbook for them and if you have
any photos or letters you would like to add, please
let Jackie Huber or Gail
Arnold know. If you would
like to help with the
celebration, please let Stacy
know!
Help us make aMemory Book!
Got Old Cell Phones?
Oh yea - you know you had one of these.
Well, nows your chance to donate those old
phones to Arizona Reservation Ministries. They
can turn them in for money - phones can be
really old, not working, and they dont want or
need the charger! Look for bins around campus
to place them in. We are also collecting school
supplies as well. The list of supplies can be
found in the June Newsletter!
We hope your worship experience with us will be meaningful. To help
you feel a bit more comfortable with our campus and morning
programs, we have included a few recommendations. We are glad
you are here today!
Helpful Information
Sermon Notes
6451 E. Shea Blvd I Scottsdale, AZ 85254 I 480-991-9878
We would like to get to know you! Each pew has a Welcome Book in which
you can let us know prayer requests, sign up for events and update your
information. Please pass the Welcome Book down the row so we can hear
from everyone!
Communion/Lords Supper
All followers of Christ are welcome to participate in our Service of Communion.
If you have prepared yourself for this very special moment with our Savior, you
are invited to his table. (1 Corinthians 11:23-30) Please take the emblems as
they are passed and partake when you are ready. Some prefer to take it while
it is in front of them before passing it along.
Offering
In our first two services, a special time for giving is set aside. Participation is an
act of worship and voluntary. During our third service there will not be a time
specific for offering but rather boxes are placed at the entry to allow for giving
as you are led.
Nursery
We have a friendly, well-staffed and impeccably clean nursery located on the
north side of the narthex. Please see an usher for directions.
