Mr. Som Chaturvedi was with the Indian Government Service (IAS) from 1964 to 1997. During this time he has held several key positions in the Indian Government. He has been involved in the executive and policy making activity of the Central government in various ministries like telecommunications, auto and machine building, power, railways, mines and minerals etc. He has also served as Officer on Special Duty to the Central Ministers, some of them being the Ministers of Industry, Commerce, Finance, External Affairs and was associated in senior position with Ministry of Telecommunication when privatization of the Telecom happened during 1994-1996.

A serial entrepreneur, Pankaj has rich and varied experience in education, advising governments, supply-chain management, steel industry and the renewable energy sector. He studied Bachelors and Masters course work in Economics from RIT, Rochester, NY and SUNY, Binghamton, NY. He has worked in the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation as a Consultant and as Advisor to the Minister for Science & Technology and Power, Government of India, UPNEDA, UREDA, NREDA, & MANIREDA. Presently, he is also advisor to several companies in varied sectors like supply-chain management, steel industry and the renewable energy sector.

Dr. Y K Alagh Dr. Y.K. Alagh is currently the Chancellor of Nagaland University; Chairman, Institute of Rural Development and Vice Chairman of Sardar Patel Institute of Economic and Social Research, Ahmedabad. He is a Trustee of the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation and an Independent Director of Tata Chemicals and Shree Cements. He has been the Minister of Power and for Planning & Program Implementation with additional charge of the Ministry of Science & Technology. He was also Member of the Council, United Nations University and Chairman, Scientific Steering Committee of the International Social Science Program of UNESCO. Mr. Surendra Singh, IAS (Retd.) Mr. Surendra Singh has been involved in various advisory and consultative assignments with the Govt of India and private sector companies over the past decade. Currently, he is on the boards of a number of prestigious companies and banks. In addition to serving as the advisor to the Govt of Maharashtra on multilateral finance, he is also the Director on boards of directors of companies like NIIT Ltd., NIIT Technologies, Axis Bank Ltd, CMC Ltd, BAG Films and Media Ltd. Etc. In the past he has been involved in several high profile roles such as being the Director of Maruti Udyog Ltd; Cabinet Secretary to the Govt of India; Executive Director, The World Bank representing India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Bhutan. Mr. Dutt, with his more than 35 years of government services has been additional Member (Electrical). In the rank of Special Secretary to government of India, Ministry of Railways. He has served Indian Railways as Chief Electrical Engineer, Northern Railway, Delhi for more than a decade. He has contributed to RDSO(Research Design Standards Organisation) for almost 7 years and was closely associated with the design and development of Electric Locomotive, Electrical Multiple Units, Electric Design of Metro Rolling Stock of Kolkata Metro and Train Lighting and Air Conditioned Coaches.

Solar energy being a new focus area, the level of awareness and knowledge about the same is limited. We conduct workshops which are conducted by solar energy professionals so as to make the decision making team of organizations aware of the advantages of going solar. In order to generate more and more knowledgeable experts and so as to establish a standard in the industry, we have designed two certification courses for professionals and amateurs according to the level of awareness and knowledge about the solar energy sector.
Certification Program for Professionals: This program has been specially designed for professionals (electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, architects) who are well aware about the nuances of solar energy, but havent yet mastered it. It lasts for seven days, and combines instructor lead training on solar PV and thermal energy and offers both theoretical and practical exposure. Certification Program for Amateurs: This course is optimized for General & Electrical Contractors, Architects, Engineers, and Business Professionals / Consultants who are new to the solar industry. In 6 days of hands-on training, it covers the fundamentals of PV theory and applications, system design & estimation, and hands-on installation of typical residential & commercial rooftop systems.
