QUE$TOR Offshore The QUE$TOR Offshore tool helps you overcome the challenges of project cost estimation for offshore structures. It provides data for the following components: Topsides: from simple wellheads to complex drilling, production, and quarters (DPQ) platforms. Jackets: lightweight structures and conventional 4, 6 and 8 legged jackets, caissons and guyed towers. Gravity Based Structures: options for conventional condeep and slimline monotower designs. Pipelines: infield flowlines, export pipelines, multiple riser types and tie-in options. Offshore Loading Buoys: CALM Buoys, SALMs and Floating Loading Platforms with an option for storage. Floaters: options include Semis, FPSOs, Spar Buoys and Tension Leg Platforms (TLPs) mini Tension Leg Platforms (TLPs). Drilling: options include fixed or mobile drilling rigs, multiple well profile types and multilaterals Subsea: includes for templates, clusters, manifolds, flowlines and risers.
QUE$TOR Onshore The QUE$TOR Onshore tool helps reduce the time for onshore cost estimation by thousands of hours. It analyses the following components of onshore oilfield estimation: Wellsites: manifolding, equipment and flowlines. Drilling: various types of rig, multiple well profile types and multilaterals. Facilities: options for manifold stations, gathering stations and production facilities with full oil and gas processing. Terminals: options for inland and coastal terminals including storage and export systems. Pipelines: infield flowlines and export pipelines with options for different terrains, crossings and booster stations. Infrastructure: construction camps, roads, airstrips, buildings etc.

QUE$TOR cost and technical databases are built on Microsoft Access and include data on all oil and gas producing regions of the world. Databases are updated every six months and information is gathered from actual projects, fabricators, vendors, and service companies. QUE$TOR includes: QUE$TOR Offshore: offshore oil and gas project cost analysis QUE$TOR Onshore: onshore oil and gas project cost analysis QUE$TOR LNG: cost estimation for LNG regasification projects Rapid, Accurate Data QUE$TOR uses primary input data including recoverable reserves, gas and liquid ratios, reservoir depth, and water depth, and leverages IHS basin data to generate a production profile that supports the development of concept and design flowrates. The tool enables you to size facilities, pipelines and substructures, and quickly calculate capital costs, drilling costs, operating costs and abandonment and decommissioning costs, then schedule these to provide project cash flows. Detailed Reports Detailed QUE$TOR reports can be printed or exported to spreadsheets for use in other cost-control analysis formats. Project cashflows can be imported into AS$ET for post-tax economic analysis.

This allows the user to capture costs (CAPEX/OPEX) and where needed production/consumption of a product. Asset business planning (ABP) The creation of a dynamic model of the asset against which it is possible to analyze the effect of change. ABP provides a dynamic and proactive tool to search for improvements to the economic performance of an asset, through operating cost reduction or increased production revenues. Without a business plan, it is very difficult to quantify and analyze the strategic impact of any decision. Activity-based costing OPE$T uses activity-based costing, which provides significant advantages: Cost can be seen at the lowest or highest level of the system Analyses directly the impact of an activity on one or more assets Allows generic cost allocation to assets Simplifies the structure of the model Data assimilation Some of the greatest problems facing an asset manager implementing an ABP are concerned with data. OPE$T provides important advantages in this area, notably: Easing the data collection process Aiding reuse through generic activity databases Allowing easy access and comparison of historical and current information Linking to corporate databases Generic applications OPE$T can be used to analyze: Down-manning and other operational studies
