Introduction
The aim of the ERANIS project was to contribute to the realization of New Neighbourhood Policy of the EU by strengthening international S&T (Science & Technology) co-operation with the Newly Independent States (NIS) and opening the European Research Area to the NIS partners through a number of assistive measures, involving the Commission, NIS partners and experienced mentors from Member States into the process. The main objective of the project was to contribute to more active involvement of NIS partners in the EU Seventh Framework Programme, but also in complementary programmes such as EUREKA RTD actions, which represent the primary, yet seriously underexploited measures for R&D co-operation between NIS and the EU-25. Within the activities foreseen to be realize within ERANIS project it was foreseen to organize a large scale, international brokerage event in Warsaw focusing on KBBE, ICT, Energy, NMP and targeting 4 Eastern Europe project partnering countries, namely: Ukraine, Russia, Belarus and Moldova. During preparation phase of this event, the dedicated partner search mechanism was developed to gather profiles of experts from EU and EE, declaring their interest in participating in the event. While preparing effective partner search mechanism 2 kinds of online forms were prepared: Partner Search (PS) and Expression of Interest (EoI). Both of these forms were available for EU experts looking for partners from NIS constituency. Experts from NIS partnering countries had the possibility to fill in only the Expression of Interest form. All profiles gathered before the event created the Online Profiles Catalogue (within the ERANIS Project website) which could be overviewed and experts already registered had a possibility to make matching with experts they wanted meet during the broekrage event. The partner searches from EU experts were gathered not only before the event, but also after its end. The ERANIS Online Catalogue remains opened again as an active efficient Partner Search mechanism, creating further possibility to download new profiles both form EU and EE, but also overviewed already exisiting ones. This Deliverable contains 100 all partner searches received from EU countries expressing their interest in cooperation with NIS experts in the fields of KBBE, ICT, NMP and Energy. The majority of them was submitted online within ERANIS Online catalogue. Deliverable 4.3 contains 100 Partner Searches (PS) from EU community. Due to the size of the file, this documents has been devided into two parts, 50 PS each. The first part of D4.3 contains: 40 Partner Searches from Poland 3 Partner Searches from Germany 2 Partner Search fom Austria 2 Partner Searches from Great Britain 3 Partner Searches from Greece The second part of D4.3 contains: 3 Partner Searches from Spain 3 Partner Searches from Lithuania 1 Partner Searches from Czech Republic 2 Partner Searches from Hungary 2 Partner Searches from Portugal 1 Partner Searches from the Netherlands 7 Partner Searches from Romania 5 Partner Searches from Italy 2 Partner Searches from Finland 23 Partner Searchs from Estonia 1 Partner Searches from Belgium

The control systems will be specifically designed to configure the building in the most efficient way from the energy point of view, managing not only energy consumption but also energy production. A method to assess the reduction of CO2 emissions will be developed. The proposed general objectives are: 1. Increase energy efficiency in buildings/dwellings creating ICT based solutions that will provide innovative tools to allow users to perform energy savings, in an intuitive and efficient way. 2. Application of Ambient Intelligence Techniques to design Intelligent control systems to reduce energy consumption in buildings. According to this, the intelligent control systems will be enablers and responsible for the energy savings.

In this way, the energy saving process will become more independent of users behaviour, keeping the comfort levels desired by users. 3. Take advantage of the possibilities offered by ICT technologies regarding energy consumption metering and intelligent control of buildings. ICT networks play a strategic role in the deployment of eco-efficient systems. UPM, CARTIF IND, others Role of partner: technology development, research, demonstration South of Europe (Mediterranean), Central Europe, East of Europe Companies that design, manufacture and integrate sensors/actuators and control systems for buildings. Companies interested in adding intelligence to those systems, to optimize the energy efficiency of buildings and to reduce the need of user interaction with the systems. Companies that design, manufacture and integrate energy consumption and production systems for buildings. Building developer (public or private) or building owner with access to buildings in use that integrate energy generation systems. The buildings will need to integrate the systems developed during the project in order to validate in real conditions the reduction of energy consumption Research institutions with expertise in ontologies or artificial intelligence applied to self-learning and selfconfigurable ICT systems, that learn from users preferences.

Project details Project type IP Call info (which call does the PS refer to?) NMP-2009 Topic NMP Nonconventional ecologic, flexible technologies Title for processing textile wastes into high added value products The environment protection and the rational waste management are essential dimensions of the sustainable development. The negative effects of these over the environment factors and, implicitly, over the population health, are well-known and are made public in the whole world and the non-adequate dealing with this issue may cause catastrophic effects over life. Having in view these aspects, there is very important to find solution for diminishing the quantity of generated wastes and for limiting the negative effects of these products, by re-using the recyclable ones in the production processes as secondary raw materials, as well as by ecologic treating and storing of those that can not be reusable. The textile industry affects the environment by Short description high water, energy, chemical substance consumption, as well as by the high waste quantity generated as a result of using an impressive number of chemical substances and technologic processes. The project will develop and implement the notion of;zero waste;, by the elaboration of certain new ecologic and flexible technologies, such as: - processes and methods for a better waste selection - technologies for textile waste preliminary processing - conventional and nonconventional technologies for processing recovered fibres into high added value products; - biotechnologies of enzymatic treating of textile wastes containing cellulose fibres 36

COST has 34 member countries but it also promotes the participation of experts from non-COST countries. in the frame of the new COST Near Neighbors scheme we would try to establish interfaces between COST and ERANIS partners to enable scientists to collaborate in a wide spectrum of activities grouped under nine key scientific Domains (see COST description). Non-Commercial (employees) 50-99 COST, European Cooperation in the field of Scientific and Technical Research is one of the longest-running European instruments supporting cooperation among scientists and researchers across Europe. COST is also the first and widest European intergovernmental network for coordination of nationally funded research activities. COST has a geographical scope beyond the EU and welcomes the participation of interested institutions from non-COST member states without any geographical restriction. As a precursor of advanced multidisciplinary research, COST plays a very important role in the realisation of the European Research Area (ERA). It anticipates and complements the
