Journal of Sensor Networks focuses on applied research and applications of sensor networks. A large number of important applications depend on sensor networks interfacing with the real world. These applications include medical, military, manufacturing, transportation, safety and environmental planning systems. Many have been difficult to realize because of problems involved with inputting data from sensors directly in to automated systems. Sensor fusion in the context of distributed sensor networks has emerged as the method of choice for resolving these problems. This journal also acts as a medium for exchanging ideas and thoughts about impacts of sensor networks research. More importantly the goal of this journal is to provide a forum for the publication of important research contributions in developing high performance computing solutions to problems arising from the complexities of these sensor network systems. Articles highlight advances in uses of sensor network systems for solving computational tasks in manufacturing, engineering and environmental systems. Topics that fit the interests of the JSN include the following, but are not limited to: Innovative sensing concepts Cell and tissue-based sensors Chemical, biological and physical sensors Sensor networks and systems Sensor system integration Advanced sensing materials Sensor architectures Self-cleaning sensors One-shot disposable sensors Biotoxin sensors Data fusion of sensor arrays Sensor fabrication, packaging, testing and reliability Sensor instrumentation Electronic interfaces and data processing Sensor signal processing electronics Sensor applications and uses Optical, acoustic, mechanical, thermal electromagnetic, electrochemical and radiation sensors Environmental sensors Fiber optic sensors Sonar sensors Flow sensors Analytical -systems lab-on-a-chip Sensor neural networks Sensor telemetry Measurement compensation and calibration Electronic-nose sensors Nanosensors Computational and theoretical aspects of sensors

JSEM ( Journal of Software Engineering and Methodology ) ISSN 2160-3901 (print), 2160-391X (online) http://www.newworldpub.com/journals/jsem.html
The Journal of Software Engineering and Methodology publishes the most recent innovations, trends, results, experiences and concerns in the field of software engineering. The Journal of Software Engineering and Methodology theme of Software by Design reflects the widely-held view that the most important ingredient in ensuring a software systems long-term success is its design. While other concepts, concerns, activities, artifacts, and processes are important to the success of a software engineering project, it is the quality of a systems design that provides the critical ingredient. Highlighting design as the conferences theme is meant to focus attention upon designs centrality, to encourage reflection on design experience, to inspire new designers, and to encourage development of new design techniques. We invite high quality submissions of technical / research papers describing original and unpublished results of theoretical, empirical, conceptual, and experimental software engineering research. Incremental improvements over previously published work should have been evaluated through systematic, comparative, empirical, or experimental evaluation. Submissions of papers describing groundbreaking approaches to emerging problems will be considered based on timeliness and potential impact. Topics that fit the interests of the JSEM include the following, but are not limited to: Agile software development AI- and knowledge-based software engineering Aspectorientation and feature interaction Computer supported cooperative work Empirical software engineering End user software engineering Engineering for mobile, ubiquitous, and pervasive software Engineering of distributed/parallel software systems Engineering of embedded and realtime software Engineering secure software Humancomputer interaction Internet and information systems development Patterns and frameworks Program comprehension and visualization Programming languages Reverse engineering and maintenance Software architecture and design Software components and reuse
