It aims to deepen students understanding of the continuity of life by discussing the mechanisms of cell reproduction, Mendelian and nonMendelian modes of inheritance, and the chromosomal basis of inheritance. Students also explore the central dogma of molecular biology, and learn about the technqiues and applications of DNA technology. This is a one-unit course for fourth-year students, with three meetings per week.

Submissions past the deadline (even just seconds or minutes after) will be given a grade of ZERO. No exceptions. C. Laboratory Rules Read the handouts ahead of time. Lab performance is part of your Activities grade. Thus, do not be late for lab work, and refrain from leaving the room during the activity. Always wear a protective lab gown, unless otherwise stated.
