Installation from DVD to Internal memory of your mobile device
Requirements: Mobile device listed in Compatibility List on www.sygic.com/mobilemaps Sygic Mobile Maps could also run on other mobile devices but those were not tested and are not supported by Sygic
Installation from included memory card (recommended)

1. Please insert Sygic Mobile Maps memory card into your device using one of the included adapters if needed. 2. Installation wizard will launch automatically within a few seconds. 3. Follow the instructions of the wizard.
If the installation wizard does not start automatically follow the instructions below that match the type of your mobile device: Windows Mobile: Start the File Explorer application in your mobile device, select Storage card and execute the file SetupWinMobile.exe. Symbian S60 (Nokia, Samsung..): Start the File Manager application in your mobile device, switch to the memory card and execute the file SetupSymbian.sis.
1. Connect your device to your computer in Mass Storage Mode, so that it appears as a removable disk in your computer. Please note that connection via ActiveSync is not supported. 2. Insert the DVD into your computer to start the Sygic Assistant. If the Sygic Assistant does not start automatically within a few seconds, you can start it manually from your DVD running Sygic_Assistant. exe from Sygic_Assistant folder. 3. Follow the instructions of Sygic Assistant. 4. Configure the installation by selecting appropriate maps/regions and voice instructions. 5. To copy the installation files into your mobile device, press the Install button. 6. Please disconnect your device from your computer to start the installation process on your mobile device and follow the instructions of the installation wizard. If the installation wizard does not start automatically follow the instructions below that match the type of your mobile device: Windows Mobile: Start the application File Explorer in your mobile device and execute the file SetupWinMobile. exe from the Internal memory. Symbian S60 (Nokia, Samsung..): Start the application File Manager in your mobile device, switch to the internal memory and execute the file SetupSymbian.sis.
Google Android
1. In your mobile device, open the webpage http://www.sygic.com/setupandroid 2. The installation file should be downloaded in a few seconds. 3. Launch the SetupAndroid.apk to start the installation process. NOTE: If you do not have internet connection, you can alternatively enter following address into your internet browser to start the installation:

If the automatic detection of settings fails, configure the GPS COM port and BAUD rate manually. Please, consult your device manufacturer for this information. How to improve the satellite reception 1. If available, activate the Assisted GPS in your operating system to speed up the initial fix. 2. Position the GPS receiver outdoors, away from high buildings. 3. For optimal reception, check the angle of the GPS antenna according to your hardware manufacturers instructions. How to install the external Bluetooth GPS module 1. Turn on the Bluetooth GPS module. 2. Make connection between Bluetooth GPS module and your device (pairing). Follow the instructions below that match the type of your mobile device: Windows Mobile: Tap Start and select Settings. Choose Connections tab and select Bluetooth. Select Devices tab and select Add new device Select your Bluetooth GPS module from the list of detected devices. Enter password of your Bluetooth GPS module (see device manual; usually 0000). Activate the service Serial port. In COM Ports tab, create a new Outgoing port for your GPS device.
IMPORTANT: Sygic Mobile Maps is pre-activated on a supplied SD card. If you are installing to a different data carrier (e.g. internal memory of your mobile device), you will be asked to activate your license. You can activate Sygic Mobile Maps: Automatically: using Internet connection of your mobile device Manually: using a PC connected to the Internet During activation just please follow the instruction of your Sygic Mobile Maps. Please note, that Sygic Assistant DVD can manage the map content in your mobile device (e.g. remove unnecessary maps to save extra storage space) and also provides a backup of Sygic Mobile Maps product.
Setting up the GPS reception
Make sure that your GPS module is active. At the first run, Sygic Mobile Maps performs automatic detection of GPS settings.
Symbian S60: Select Bluetooth settings. Switch to Paired devices. Select New paired device to start searching for devices in range. Select your Bluetooth GPS module from the list of detected devices. Enter passcode of your Bluetooth GPS module (see device manual; usually 0000). Confirm Authorise device to make connections automatically.

Einstellen des GPS Empfangs
Stellen Sie sicher, dass Ihr GPS Modul aktiv ist. Beim ersten Lauf ermittelt Sygic Mobile Maps automatisch die GPS Einstellungen. Falls die automatische Ermittlung der Einstellungen nicht klappt, konfigurieren Sie GPS COM Port und Baudrate manuell. Bitte wenden Sie sich an Ihren Gertehersteller wegen dieser Informationen. So verbessern Sie den Satellitenempfang 1. Falls verfgbar aktivieren Sie fr die Bestimmung des Ausgangsorts das Assisted GPS in Ihrem Betriebssystem. 2. Stellen Sie den GPS Receiver auen auf, nicht in der Nhe von hohen Gebuden. 3. Fr optimalen Empfang berprfen Sie den Winkel der GPS Antenne entsprechend den Anweisungen des Herstellers Ihrer Hardware. So wird das externe Bluetooth GPS Modul installiert. 1. Schalten Sie das Bluetooth GPS Modul ein. 2. Stellen Sie eine Verbindung her zwischen dem Bluetooth GPS Modul und Ihrem Gert (Pairing), befolgen Sie die zu Ihrem Typ Mobilgert passenden Anweisungen unten: Windows Mobile: Drcken Sie Start und whlen Sie Einstellungen. Whlen Sie die Verbindungen und dann Bluetooth. Whlen Sie Gerte und dann Neues Gert hinzufgen Whlen Sie Ihr Bluetooth GPS Modul aus der Liste der gefundenen Gerte. Geben Sie das Passwort Ihres Bluetooth GPS Moduls ein (siehe Handbuch, gewhnlich 0000). Aktivieren Sie den Service Serielle Schnittstelle. Legen Sie in COM Ports einen neuen Ausgangsport fr Ihr GPS Gert an. 8

Installation partir du DVD sur la mmoire interne de votre appareil mobile

1. Insrer la carte mmoire Sygic Mobile Maps dans votre appareil en utilisant un des adaptateurs inclus si besoin. 2. Rglage de la rception GPS
Assurez-vous que votre module GPS est actif. A la premire excution, Sygic Mobile Maps ralise une dtection automatique des rglages GPS. Si la dtection automatique des rglages choue, configurer le port GPS COM et le dbit BAUD manuellement. Consulter SVP le fabricant pour plus dinformations. Comment amliorer la rception satellite 1. Si disponible, activer le GPS assist dans votre systmedexploitation pour acclrer le rglage initial. 2. Placer le rcepteur GPS lextrieur, loin de btiments levs. 3. Pour une rception optimale, vrifier langle de lantenne GPS selon les instructions du fabricant. Comment installer le module GPS Bluetooth externe 1. Allumer le module GPS Bluetooth. 2. Effectuer la connexion entre le module GPS Bluetooth et votre appareil (association) suivre les instructions ci-dessous en fonction de votre appareil mobile: Windows Mobile: Appuyer sur Dmarrer et slectionner Rglages. Choisir longlet Connexions et slectionner Bluetooth. Slectionner longlet Appareils et slectionner Ajouter un nouvel appareil Slectionner votre module GPS Bluetooth de la liste des appareils dtects. Entrer le mot de passe de votre module GPS Bluetooth (voir le manuel de lappareil; habituellement 0000). Activer le Port srie de service. Installazione dal DVD alla memoria interna del proprio dispositivo mobile

1. Collegare il dispositivo mobile al computer in modalit Memoria di massa, in modo tale che il dispositivo mobile venga riconosciuto come disco rimovibile dal computer.Attenzione: la connessione via ActiveSync non supportata. 2. Inserire il DVD nel proprio computer per avviare lapplicazione Sygic Assistant. Se lapplicazione Sygic Assistant non viene avviata automaticamente entro alcuni secondi, possibile avviarla manualmente dal DVD selezionando Sygic_Assistant.exe dalla cartella Sygic_Assistant. 3. Impostazione della ricezione del segnale GPS
Accertarsi che il modulo GPS sia attivo. Alla prima esecuzione, lapplicazione Sygic Mobile Maps esegue il rilevamento automatico delle impostazioni GPS. Se il rilevamento automatico delle impostazioni non va a buon fine, configurare manualmente la porta COM e la velocit di trasmissione BAUD. Contattare il produttore del proprio dispositivo per ottenere questi dati. Come migliorare la ricezione satellitare 1. Se disponibile, attivare il GPS assistito sul proprio sistema operativo per accelerare laggancio iniziale ai satelliti. 2. Posizionare il ricevitore GPS allesterno, lontano da edifici alti. 3. Per una ricezione ottimale, controllare langolo dellantenna GPS confrontandolo con quello indicato nelle istruzioni del produttore dellhardware. Come installare il modulo GPS Bluetooth esterno 1. Attivare il modulo GPS Bluetooth. 2. Stabilire una connessione tra il modulo GPS Bluetooth e il proprio dispositivo mobile (associazione) seguendo le istruzioni riportate di seguito a seconda del modello del proprio dispositivo mobile: Windows Mobile: Selezionare Start e poi Impostazioni. Accedere alla scheda Connessioni e selezionare Bluetooth. Selezionare la scheda Dispositivi e poi Aggiungi nuovo dispositivo Selezionare il proprio modulo GPS Bluetooth dalla lista dei dispositivi rilevati. Inserire la password del proprio modulo GPS Bluetooth (cfr. manuale del dispositivo; solitamente la password 0000). Attivare il servizio Porta seriale. Nella scheda Porte COM, creare una nuova Porta in uscita per il proprio dispositivo GPS.
Symbian S60: Selezionare le impostazioni Bluetooth. Accedere ai Dispositivi associati. Selezione Nuovo dispositivo associato per avviare una ricerca dei dispositivi disponibili. Selezionare il proprio modulo GPS Bluetooth dalla lista dei dispositivi rilevati. Inserire il codice daccesso del proprio modulo GPS Bluetooth (cfr. manuale del dispositivo; solitamente il codice daccesso 0000). Selezionare Autorizza il dispositivo a stabilire le connessioni automaticamente.

NEML: Sygic Mobil Harita, birlikte verilen bir SD kart zerinde nceden etkinletirilmitir. Kurulumu farkl bir veri taycsna yapyorsanz (rnein, mobil cihaznzn i bellei) sizden lisansnz etkinletirmeniz istenecektir. Sygic Mobil Haritay aadaki ekillerde etkinletirebilirsiniz: Otomatik olarak: mobil cihaznzn internet balantsn kullanarak etkinletirebilirsiniz. Manel olarak: internete bal bir bilgisayar kullanarak etkinletirebilirsiniz. Etkinletirme srasnda yalnzca Sygic Mobil Harita talimatlarn uygulayn. Harici Bluetooth modlnn kurulumu iin yaplmas gerekenler 1. Bluetooth GPS modln an. 2. Bluetooth GPS modl ve cihaznzn balantsn kurun (eletirin) ve mobil cihaznn trne gre aadaki talimatlar uygulayn: Windows Mobile: Balata dokunun ve Ayarlar sein. Balantlar sekmesini ve daha sonra Bluetoothu sein. Aygtlar sekmesini ve Yeni aygt ekle seeneini sein. Alglanan aygtlar listesinden size ait olan Bluetooth GPS modln sein. Bluetooth GPS modl ifresini yazn (bkz. cihaz klavuzu; genellikle 0000dr). Seri balant noktas hizmetini etkinletirin. COM Balant Noktalar sekmesinde GPS cihaznz iin yeni bir Giden balant noktas oluturun.

GPS modlnzn etkin olduundan emin olun. Sygic Mobil Harita, ncelikle GPS ayarlarn otomatik olarak alglar. Ayarlar otomatik olarak alglanamazsa, GPS COM balant noktas ve BAUD hzn manel olarak yaplandrn. Bu bilgiyi almak iin ltfen cihaznzn reticisiyle grn.
