No Bad Apples PACs First Endorsement is Justin Wagner

Liz Krueger Backs Hudson Valley Attorney, Good-Government Activist in Battleground District
Albany, NY Earlier this morning, Senator Liz Kruegers No Bad Apples PAC awarded Justin Wagner its first endorsement of the 2012 general election cycle. Wagner, an attorney and community activist from Croton-on-Hudson, is challenging incumbent Senator Greg Ball (R-Pawling) in the 40th Senate District. Justin Wagner is exactly the kind of candidate I set out to support when I decided to form the No Bad Apples PAC a successful young professional who is an active and engaged member of his community, said Sen. Krueger. Justin is committed to bringing good-government reforms to Albany, and Im proud to endorse him. Im confident that when Justin joins me as a colleague in the Senate, he will work with dedication and seriousness to give the people of the 40th Senate district the representation they deserve. I got into this campaign with the mission of restoring integrity to Albany, so it is with great pride that I accept this endorsement as proof positive of my commitment to real reform in Albany including campaign finance reform, ethics reform, redistricting reform, franked-mail reform, and opening up the legislative process to greater levels of transparency, Justin Wagner stated upon receiving the endorsement. As a former chair of the Democratic Senate Campaign Committee, Sen. Krueger oversaw a period where Democrats gained three seats while losing none. Justin Wagners campaign is off to a great start. In the many years Ive spent recruiting candidates and helping win campaigns, Ive rarely seen a candidate with as clear a commitment to the hard work of earning votes as Justin. Its only June, and Justin Wagner is already showing he has what it takes to win, said Sen. Krueger.

Justin Wagner is running in the 40th Senate district, where incumbent Greg Ball won a narrow victory in 2010, helped by a national Republican wave. In this years redistricting, the district saw a substantial increase in Democratic enrollment, making it a key offensive opportunity for Senate Democrats. Formed by Senator Liz Krueger in 2011, the mission of the No Bad Apples PAC is to recruit and help elect good government Democrats to the State Senate in 2012.
