What are your career aspirations?

Ever since I was a child, I have tried diligently to solve problems in creative ways. This trait was evident even during my childhood days, where I would try to construct make-belief figurines and buildings without following the instructions which came along with the LEGO kits. I sought to use creativity to find simpler, more cost effective or efficient solutions to complex problems in every situation. This culminated in the invention of Twister Shine, an automated, cost effective solution to cut down expenses for my secondary school bowling team. In the same way, I gained great satisfaction helping to repair and service the instruments of the String family during my appointment as the vice president of the National Junior College String Ensemble. In all these, I realized that my impetus was the simple joy and satisfaction I felt when I could do something for others. This has driven me to put in my best effort and caused me to invest time and effort to render to others a helping hand, whether in important or seemingly insignificant matters. As such, I firmly believe that my career should revolve around impacting others be it in the area of management, working with or leading groups, perhaps even selling an idea. I will seize any opportunity to empower and collaborate with my superiors, peers and/or juniors. Indeed, with my extensive experience in administration as my current work demands, and having worked together in teams, as well as having held numerous leadership positions during my secondary school and college days; these experiences have definitely been instrumental in developing the necessary skill sets requisite for a varied choice of careers in the service industry.
