+200 through +299 Error Message Descriptions Last updated: November 9, 2010 Description A device-specific error indicates that

the instrument has detected an error that occurred because some operations did not properly complete, possibly due to an abnormal hardware or firmware condition. For example, an attempt by the user to set an out of range value will generate a device specific error. When one of these errors is generated, the +200 errors bit in the questionable error status register is set. +200 through +299 Error Messages Error Message Description +201 WCDMA call processing error; No Response to RRC Connection Setup No "RRC Connection Complete" message was received from the UE. However, the BS Origination process is allowed to proceed. +202 WCDMA call disconnected; No Response to RRC Connection Release No "RRC Connection Release Complete" message was received from the UE. However, the BS Release process is allowed to proceed. +203 WCDMA call processing error; No Response to Activate RB Test Mode No "Activate Radio Bearer Test Mode Complete" message was received from the UE. However, the BS Origination process is allowed to proceed. +204 WCDMA call processing error; No Response to De-Activate RB Test Mode No "De-Activate Radio Bearer Test Mode Complete" message was received from the UE. However, the BS Release process is allowed to proceed. +205 WCDMA call processing error; No Response to Close UE Test Loop No "Close UE Test Loop Complete" message was received from the UE. However, the BS Origination process is allowed to proceed. If this error occurs during a Transport Channel Reconfiguration , the UE did not send the Close UE Test Loop Complete message to the test set within 6 seconds. The test set will terminate the procedure. +206 WCDMA call processing error; No Response to Radio Bearer Setup No "Radio Bearer Setup Complete" message was received from the UE. However, the BS Origination process is allowed to proceed. If this error occurred during a reconfiguration, see Troubleshooting Handovers . +207 WCDMA call processing error; No response to Radio Bearer Release +208 WCDMA call processing error; No response to Identity Request The test set did not receive an identity response message from the UE. However, the Location Update process is allowed to proceed. +209 WCDMA Call Disconnected. No Signal Found on Uplink DPCH The test set could not find a valid DPCH signal within 2 seconds of sending the "RRC Connection Setup" message during a BS Origination procedure. If this errors occurs during a Physical Channel Reconfiguration , the test set could not find a valid DPCH signal within 5 seconds of sending the Physical Channel Reconfiguration message. The call status is returned to idle.

If this error occurs during an External 8960 Handover , the destination test set (configured as a W-CDMA/HSPA cell) could not find a valid DPCH signal within 5 seconds of being notified of an incoming external handover. The call status is returned to idle. +210 WCDMA Call Disconnected; Signal Lost on Uplink DPCH The test set determined that a link failure occurred due to loss of synchronization with the embedded pilot in the uplink DPCH. If this error occurred during a handover, see Troubleshooting Handovers . If it occurred during enabling/disabling compressed mode, see Troubleshooting Compressed Mode Operation . +211 Call Disconnected; No Response to registration request. The call is dropped by the test set as a result of the UE not responding to a registration request message. +212 WCDMA Call Disconnected. Max No. RLC Retransmissions Exceeded. The following known issue exists in some revisions of the W-CDMA/HSDPA applications: this warning is erroneously returned for some uplink/downlink separations greater than 30 MHz; please ignore this warning unless the uplink/downlink separation is less than 30 MHz. +218 Call Disconnected; Signal With The External Device Has Been Lost This error is returned if during a Video Call , a message from one UE to the other is not received even though there is a valid External Device Connection between the two 8960s. +218 FDD Settings Deferred: AWGN power > +10 or < -20 dB relative to cell power +220 FDD call operation rejected; UL Power Control is active Step up or step down

If a request to send an SMSSUBMIT-REPORT is received at the test set outside these time constraints, the message will not be sent to the mobile station. +240 FDD call operation rejected; Channelization code is already in use on another HS-SCCH Each HS-SCCH must be assigned to a different channelization code. See HSDPA in FDD Test Operating Mode and Downlink Channel Codes . +241 Operation rejected; Attempting to send SMS submit report while mode set to Auto +241 FDD call operation rejected; The first HS-PDSCH channelization code and FRC type would yield a value greater than 14 for the last HS-PDSCH channelization code To set the channelization codes for the HS-PDSCHs, you must specify the FDD Test First HS-PDSCH Channelization Code . The second HS-PDSCH is then assigned the FDD Test First HS-PDSCH Channelization Code + 1, etc. An HS-PDSCH may not be
