Agilent E6474A is software developed by Hewlet Packard for collection and monitoring RF data during drive test. System Requirement. Laptop (512 MB RAM). GPS Engineering Handset compatible with Agilent. Agilent E6474A software CD. Agilent E6474A License (donggle).

Accessories to connect the GPS and Engineering hand set. GPS connecting cable output is 9 pin D type female connector, so to connect GPS we need a RS 232 serial D type 9 pin male connector port either inbuilt in laptop or we can connect external device such as PCMCIA card of USB to Serial adaptor cables and create a RS 232 serial port (before using these external devices we have to load their device driver first). Baud rate of the port at which gps is connected and of GPS should set to 4800. Port baud rate can be set by right clicking my computer> device manager>ports>select the desired port>go to properties>set bps settings>click ok. Sagem Engineering handset has serial output. In the same way as GPS we need a serial port to connect Sagem. Baud rate of Sagem and the port at which it is connected should be 57600. For setting baud rate in Sagem handset see the Guidelines of using Sagem provided in this document. If Nokia Or Motorola handsets are being used than we have to load their cable drivers first(in case of Nokia DK2U cable drivers). Both of these handsets have USB output. So we need USB ports either inbuilt in laptop or can be created by using external device as in case of serial ports. No baud rate settings are required in case of Nokia and Motorola handsets.
