of Energy to perform 12 major Energy Reducing Projects saving the
plant 15%/year in Energy Costs.
• Total Productive Manufacturing. Team Leader on this program that
reorganized production & maintenance areas to make them more
ergonomically correct.
• Consistent High Performance. Instrumental in forming C.H.P. Teams
to analyze, and determine root causes of lost production in operating
areas.
• Recycle News Plant Installation. Lead Project Engineer on 300 ton
per day newsprint deinking mill - $75M Capital Project.
• Recycle News Plant Expansion. Expanded original plant to 500 ton
per day by adding process equipment & upgrading DCS System.
• #1 & #2 Paper Machine Speed-Ups. Upgraded DC Drive Systems,
PLC’s, and Honeywell DCS Systems to increase machine speeds,
quality, and reliability.
• P.I. System Integration. Worked closely with the mills I.T. group to
connect all critical plant systems to the P.I. System Server & Historian.
