EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

1. Power Specialist (Telenor Pakistan) From July07 - Present

• Contact to the other Departments and the Contractors regarding Power implementation related activities across the
network
• Formulate and implement procedures and guidelines for field staff on Power installation and acceptances
• Support field staff by training
• Timely meetings with vendors and internal stake holders to ensure that project is according to the agreed schedule and
guidelines
• Escalate problems and delays to management for timely resolution
• Power planning/Designing across the network
• Ensure quality in power installations across the network
• Contract Management related to power
• Preparing RFQ,RFP documents
• Verifying BOQ and prepare punch list for the outstanding items and send recommendations of partial/final Acceptance
• Handle the activities related to power systems (AC & DC) like Gensets , rectifiers, UPS and battery banks etc. on BTS,
co-locations, Media Gateway ,MSC and other Network elements

2. ASSISTANT ENGINEER (Water & Power Development Authority)

From December 01 to up till now

Supervise and carry out the preparation of feasibility, design, operation, Protection and Maintenance of Distribution Power
Networks.

• Planning/ Design of electrical system/circuits for HV and LT lines and distribution power system.
• Carry out maintenance, operation and safety standards for electrical distribution systems and equipment.
• Investigate/analyze the system deficiencies and minimize the electrical failures. Obtain shut downs, rectify the
faults/deficiencies and ensure un-interrupted power supply in all weather conditions.
• Develop and execute necessary measures for quality and standards of maintenance of electrical systems.
• Inspect/supervise the installation testing and operation of electrical distribution systems and equipments.
• Planning for new areas electrification, renovation/augmentation of running networks
• Rehabilitation and improvement of the distribution networks to reduce technical losses.
 • Supervise/installation of power connections for industrial, commercial and domestic connections according to the load
demand and capacity.
• Installation of transformers, capacitors and maintenance for smooth operation.
• Application of testing equipment like earth resistance Tester, Magers, Multimeter, high voltage detector etc.
• Take necessary steps for safety of staff.
• Inspection of LV wirings of industrial buildings and plazas according to their load requirement.
• Inspection/Testing of LT panels and PFI plant

3. EXECUTIVE ENGINEER (CHENAB INTERNATIONAL PAY PHONE COMPANY)

1-YEAR EXPERIENCE

• O&M of Network Management System.

• Programming of card Payphone TT-565 sets.
• Installation of LPUs in PTCL exchanges.
