(a) (i) Pulse rate before the step up board activity: Mean = 3535/50 = 70.7 Mode = 60 - 69 = 28 students Median = 59.5 + [(50/2-2) /28][10] = 68.43 (ii) From the data above, what can I say about the pulse rate of the students in my school are normal.

(b)

Pulse rate after the step up board activity : Mean = 6395 / 50 = 127.9 Mode = 130 139 = 15 students Median = 119.5 + [(50/2-15) /10][10] = 129.5

INTRODUCTION
My Additional Mathematics Project is Statistic. Statistics is the study of the collection, organization, analysis, and interpretation of data. It deals with all aspects of this, including the planning of data collection in terms of the design of surveys and experiments. The history of statistics can be said to start around 1749 although, over time, there have been changes to the interpretation of what the word statistics means. In early times, the meaning was restricted to information about states. This was later extended to include all collections of information of all types, and later still it was extended to include the analysis and interpretation of such data. In modern terms, "statistics" means both sets of collected information, as in national accounts and temperature records, and analytical work which require statistical inference. Statistical activities are often associated with models expressed using probabilities, and require probability theory for them to be put on a firm theoretical basis: see History of probability. A number of statistical concepts have had an important impact on a wide range of sciences. These include the design of experiments and approaches to statistical inference such as Bayesian inference, each of which can be considered to have their own sequence in the development of the ideas underlying modern statistics. Recently, the Malaysian government has launched a campaign of 10 000 steps a day to create awareness to public on healthy lifestyle. At the school level, all students are requires to site for the SEGAK test to determine the fitness level of students based on a few physical tests. Among the elements of the test is taking the pulse rate of each student. So, in this project, I need to get the pulse rate of 50 students before and after the step up board activity in my school.

APPRECATION
First and foremost, I would like to thank my Additional Mathematics teacher, Mrs. Mazlina as she gives us important guidance and commitment during this project work. She has been a very supportive figure throughout the whole project. I also would like to give thanks to all my friends for helping me and always supporting me to help complete this project work. They have done a great job at collecting form 4 end of year result for additional mathematics and sharing information with other people including me. Without them this project would never have had its conclusion. For their strong support, I would like to express my gratitude to my beloved parents. Also for helping me to find the mark to complete this project. They have always been by my side and i hope they will still be there in the future. Last but not least, i would also like to thank all the teacher and my friend for helping me collect the much needed data and statistics for this. Not forgetting too all the other people who were involved directly or indirectly towards making this project a reality. I thank you all .

CONCLUSION
After doing research, answering questions and some problem solving, I saw that the usage of statistics is important in daily life. It is not just widely used in markets but also in interpreting the condition of surrounding. In conclusion, statistics is a daily life necessities. Without it, surveys cannot be conducted, the stock market cannot be interpret and many more. So, we should be thankful of the people who contribute in the idea of statistics. In conclusion, I can say that students of SMK Dato Bentara Luar are healthy.

REFLECTION
While the conducting project, I have learn a lot thing such that patients, careful and cooperation.
