3rd Annual Scholarship Cotillion Gala Tied to Success Ceremony Sponsorship Packet

June 4, 2012 Greetings: This year we are proud to announce that our young men and women of the Roseland community are participating in the 3rd Annual, I Am Beautiful Scholarship Cotillion Gala sponsored by IMPACT Family Center and the Lemuel Austin Youth Foundation. This special occasion takes place on Sunday, July 15, at 4 p.m. at the Belvedere Chateau, 8055 West 103rd Street in Palos Hills, IL. We need YOU in order to make it a success for the teens and families we serve. During the preparation for this momentous occasion, a total of 12 young men and 12 young women have dedicated their time to learn and become skilled at various lessons for the gala such as debutant and escort etiquette lessons, community service and personal development. Participants as well as other teens will also have a chance to compete for various scholarships and awards including the I AM Beautiful Scholarship, Lemuel Austin, Jr. Leadership Legacy Scholarship, the Carrie M. Austin Leadership Scholarship Award and the Deborah Sims Community Service Scholarship Award. The young men and women have been willing and eager to share this event with others throughout the community by selling tickets as well as ads in order to stabilize this event financially.
At this time, we are in need of funding for each participant and the scholarship funds: ____Tuxedo, Accessories & Fees $200 ____ Ball Gowns, Accessories & Fees $250 ____ Lemuel Austin Legacy Scholarship $1000 ____ Carrie M. Austin Leadership Scholarship $1000 ____Deborah Sims Scholarship $1000 ____ I AM Beautiful Scholarship $1000 ____General Awards and Honors $1000 ____ General Program Donations $_____ Program Ad Book donations are also available (See the attached sheet). In-kind items are also needed for gift bags. Overall, our goal is S25,000, which would be an investment into the lives of our youth.

We are appealing to our civic/business leaders and owners who have provided incredible service to the surrounding communities to re-invest to our teens. This is the time where you can assist our youth as they participate in an event that aides them in becoming responsible and attentive citizens in the future. YOU can be the one known for NOT turning your backs on our youth. As a sponsor, you can help make this occasion a success as it places a positive impact on their lives.
