Our third festival was Chan-
dan Yatra on a hot day of
summer. Here we covered the
large and chota deities of
Nitai Gaurachandra with san-
dalwood paste to cool them
down. For the first time in
Murari, the small festival dei-
ties were taken out in proces-
sion to the pond, Ganga
Kunda, followed by the large
murti of Srila Prabhupada. All
of you who came will remem-
ber the unexpected shower of
white flowers that fell from the
trees as the abhiseka took
place. Our special guests were
a bus-load of hare krishna
youth, who led the lively kir-
tans.
The fourth festival on July 15
the initiation ceremony of two
of our members, Dr. Vishnu
caran Das and Revati DD. His
holiness Radha Govinda Ma-
haraja presided over the ini-
tiation ceremony. his brother

Radha Raman was also
present. In the year 2008
we hope to hold the first
Murari Rathayatra on this
same day. Get involved now!
Our fifth festival was Sri
Krishna Janmastami cele-
brated in grand style with an
abhiseka, homa or fire yagya
and yulan yatra. We dupli-
cated the festival once again
at the house of Atul Yadhava
in Oxford, Mississippi. We
also attended the celebra-
tion at Nitai Gaurasundar
and Matsya's house in Mur-
freesboro.
And we concluded the festi-
vals for 2007 with Sri
Govardhana Puja. Our
sweetest festival with a rep-
lica of Govardhana hill on
the altar, and another hill
made by all the devotees
who brought sweet prepara-
tions. Sri Govardhana Sila
was honored with a milk
abhiseka and hundreds of
sweet offerings. The pro-
gram concluded with the
offering of lamps to Sri
Damonara during the auspi-
cious month of Kartika. All
these festivals had a multi
course prasadam feast en-
joyed by everyone.

First prize in the Memphis Indian fair for the best
booth, with an attendance of 8000 people.
New devotee families coming from Huntsville, AL ,
Nashville, TN, Oxford, MS, Atlanta, GA, and from the
towns surrounding Murari Sevaka.
A new website and newsletter established by Rob
and Christie Vogel..
A continuous flow of guests visiting the farm with a
record of 13 guests in one day on November 30 (a
record for the cold season).
A membership program, which has given murari
financial stability, with more than 20 monthly do-
nors.
Murari has also recieved many donations, like a
speaker system from Jagendra Patel. A farm truck
from Gayatri Das. A new computer from Rama Ca-
ran. A rose garden from Balavanta Das and Yoga
Rupini. A greenhouse from Balavanta Das. Six new
deity outfits, sponsored by Satyabama DD, Dama-
yanti DD, Gandharvika DD, Dharmaraja Das,
Mrnalini Dixit, and Yogarupini DD. Gayatri Das
funded a new underground electric and water sup-
ply line to the cabins and Sikhi prabhu provided the
labor. Gayendra Patel also paid for the fixing of the
interior of two of the cabins.
We end the year with a donation of $25,000 from
John and Christina to fix the bathrooms, and en-
close the new building. But more of these in the next
issue.
The current temple president Gayatri Das and Yoga Rupini
DD are working together to develop the vision of a Holistic
Spa Retreat Center. The future development to include
vedic and interfaith cultural dialoguing and discussions
designed to create harmony and health.

For the next three months there will be

The website project is growing immensely. Now the webmaster, Robert, has an assistant, Christina, to help with the everyday
running of the website. We have many new and exciting things planed for the website and things that are already in place. We
have a forums page not unlike other out there. With it we can communicate together while not at Murari. We are also working on
getting news feeds from other website so that we can make it easier to find out what is going on in the world. 2007 was the start
of the site and the future looks even better.
