Hawkins bumpy road is now a little bumpier

In August 2000, Chris Hawkins was one of a handful of returning players to the Kinston High School football team. Coming off a 4-6 campaign the year before, head coach Jeff Price noted before the start of the season the 5-foot 10-inch wide receiver/defensive back would be instrumental in a turn-around.
