Introduction of the author/Submission of works for review I suppose I should begin by stating I have a very deep passion for

writing. As a writer, you know that this can be an all-consuming thing; as it is for me. My goal is to submit, initially, three novels I have been working on or have in completion over the last few years. All three are very diverse from one another, but their similarity is that they all have crossover appeal. I will be submitting each one over the next few weeks, with a brief overture/introduction/dedication/preface. I would encourage everyone to read this before reading the first chapter I submit. I think it will give you greater understanding about each work as it is presented. If there is enough feedback and you would like to see more, I will submit further chapters, one chapter at a time, up to the first five chapters. The reason for me submitting all three works is to judge reasonableness on publication. I also would greatly encourage your honest feedback as it is of great value to me regarding the readers wants and desires. I realize works are very subjective, and one persons opinion is as valid as the next, but I am looking for trending opinions and to just see where this will go The first of which is as follows: A Dairys House The novel is based in the mountains of North Carolina just after the civil war. It relates the life of a young boy (Landon Hampshire) growing in his youth trying to become a young man, who discovers a diary, ancient by his terms, nearly forty years old. Through this diary he discovers the generations of life, the bounty of love, what true love really means, and the rekindling of lost love. The diary is of a young woman who lived during the times of the Trail of Tears, how she fell in love with a young Cherokee boy, the troubles and trials that this would present, and the endurance of love throughout all times. The story crossover appeal is of romance, adventure, some magical allure, and of

course, the beauty of this enchanting world I personally have grown to love and admire. The second comes from a personal story about our family. I anticipate having this up within the next week (the introduction/dedication/first chapter). It has already been published under a different name, but I decided to give it new breath with a more simplistic titling: When Tomorrow Never Comes - Conner James has it all; a wonderful wife, loving children, a well-established career as a commodities trader in the heart of Boston; a solid, loving family tradition. His life could only be measured by the sentimental and humorous experiences from his youth, and his current life as a husband, father, brother, and son. There are so many seasons to remember; joyous ones; kind and giving ones that can fill a movie script and lead him into a happy life. But fate has its own terms; its own challenges, not guided or regulated by what hopes and dreams may bring about harmony into his life. Now, when his life is set, a dramatic turn of events is thrown into his world. And in these trials, how one well-kept, family secret can cause all to reevaluate what was once thought to be the perfect family. The times will change forever; and he, and all those around him must learn to cope in a strange new place. When Tomorrow Never Comes is a moving and universal novel about hope, family, and the trials that come into their world without warning; the evolving and changing relationships that he must manage through the most difficult times of his life. Nothing could prepare him for the tragedy that ultimately intrudes, or the pitfall decisions he must make that will impact all those closest to him. His upbringing will take him only so far; the rest is left for him to live through. This is about love, the overseeing challenges of making the necessary sacrifices, and learning how to gently let go.

A Diarys House
Life has a look of beveled glass in it; as you move through it, so does your viewpoint and what you can see. When Tomorrow Never Comes displays all the colors of life; where Sorrows can once reign, Joys can eventually endure This is fiction for dramatic appeal, family, some elements of religious overtones, sports, yet mainly about love for familyBased on a true story The third and final piece is nearly complete. It certainly has been a whirlwind to write over the last few months. About 99% complete (before final review/composition check/final edits), it is probably the most imaginative of all three pieces. Its appeal is very diverse; from the dark nature of the piece for those of you who enjoy Dracula, werewolves, etc; to religious/Christian tale. Below is a brief overview: The Chronicles of Good and Evil / Draculas Lair/The Darkest Tower The story begins with a death of a child at birth in the 1450s, in a secluded southwest town of Ireland (Daniel Mulligan). But this is not where his life ends, it is only the beginning. It chronicles his growing up years in Heaven, how he is marked as the thirteenth warrior amongst an elite legion of angels who are sent back to earth by God to intervene on the darkest region of earth; Wallachia the reign of Dracula. This is not the Dracula of Bram Stoker; this is the real Dracula. It is of a time where Satan and his forces have established a stronghold in this region, where Satan has come forward now and was let loose by his alliances to rule the world and bring forward his birth seed as he calls it the antichrist. The story entails his alliance with Dracula, the descension of the legion angels (with Daniel) and how the battle for earth begins. This is an epic struggle with many twists and turns, betrayals and eventual resurrection of life and freedom for all humanity. Its appeal is broad ranging; adventure/religious/gothic/romance. I hope you enjoy the readings. Certainly feel free to contact me with your thoughts and reviews. I welcome all your input!!
