Plain and simple: the law of attraction without the BS!

Introduction

Hi, and welcome to this book that I've put together to show you how to get what you want through the law of attraction without bullshit. I've made this book as simple and to the point as possible. After you've read it, if you have questions or comments, simply email them to me and I'll be more than happy to try to answer any questions you have. Olivier Magnan Email: omagnan@aei.ca

How to Not Get Screwed

Before we go into the details of the law of attraction, I'd like to give you the specific list of criteria that I use when I'm shopping for books, seminars, and trainings in the self-improvement/energy industry, so that you don't get screwed when you're making purchases. To make a long story short, years ago I was looking for a natural solution for one of my personal problems. After 2 or 3 years of trying everything and having no results, my family and I had spent about $25,000 on natural cures that should have worked. But the problem is, 99.9% of them just don't work. So here is my personal list of criteria that I use when I'm shopping for new courses or books, or any new material on the law of attraction or neurolinguistic programming. Number one, too vague, too general. This is one of the main problems with most of the approaches. They're just too vague. There's no way for you to apply it. For example, have you heard of the power of positive thinking? Now that sounds good, right? You think positively and you don't think about negative stuff. But have you tried to actually do that? It's impossible to do. You cannot function normally in life while at the same time always trying to monitor your thoughts. Am I thinking of the right things? Am I being positive enough? Oh no, I've thought a negative thought. It doesn't work. Then some of the energy books, for example, they say, "Oh, if you want to cure yourself you just have to picture in your imagination a column of white light." Well I've tried it. It doesn't do anything.

So here's the solution. You need approaches or methods that are specific, precise, step-by-step techniques. So for example, you want to lose weight naturally. Well, you want to look for an approach that says, here's my 5-step process to lose weight. Step one, step two, step three, step four, step five. Then you can try it and you can see if it works for you or not. This is why all of the courses I create are very specific. Now, let's go to the second criteria. The second problem is most approaches try to make you dependent on them. That's a good way for them to make money, but it's not good for you. So for example, you will find a guru or energetic practitioner and he or she will say, "I charge $100. I only do blocks of 2 hours at a time, and you will have to see me twice a week." So quickly you do the math and it turns out to be $400. So then you ask the obvious question, "For how long are we going to do that?" And of course the practitioner gives you a bullshit answer in the likes of, "Oh well, energy work is not as brutal to your body as traditional medicine, so we'll have to let your body adjust to it." In other words, she can't tell you. She wants to continue charging you $400 a week for as long as she can, so she's not going to put a time limit on it. The next scam is the subliminal CD, like how to lose weight easily in 30 days using this subliminal CD. What happens if you stop listening to the CD? Another one is the vitamin or the supplement scam. At one point, I was charged $300 a month, and the pill would supposedly would heal me. But what happens if you stop taking the supplements? Another example is the "I am superior to you" technique. This is where you're desperate for a solution and you find a practitioner and he looks at you and he says, "Oh, I can see your energies and your problem is your root chakra. So I will have to heal your root chakra." And you go, "Okay, and how much time is this going to take?" And he says, "Oh, I don't know."
4

And of course, when the root chakra is balanced, then he finds another problem and he uses some esoteric new age language that you don't understand. The biggest problem is that you can't see energies, so how can you know whether you're getting scammed or it worked? So the practitioner is making you believe they are superior to you and can see things you can't, which means they can always find something new that's wrong with you. So what's the solution to all of this? You have to become skilled, competent, and self-reliant, meaning, you don't depend on anyone or anything for you to get the result that you want. So this is why in all the courses that I create, I don't sell any supplements. You can't pay me by the hour. I'm basically giving you the solution to the problem you have, but you have to test it and see if it works for yourself. The drawback to this philosophy is you're 100% responsible for your life, so you can't play victim. But the upside is this, is you're 100% in control. So for example, you have panic attacks and you're looking for a way to get rid of the negative emotions. Well if I give you a technique that you can use by yourself, yeah you have to practice it, but you're not dependent on me or anyone else. Whenever in the future a bad feeling comes up in your body, you can zap it out quickly on your own and not rely on someone else that you have to pay to solve the problem. The third criteria are, all the techniques are just too long and just too boring. I mean, who has time to do an hour of meditation a day? The solution to that is only use techniques that are short, that are fun to use, that are exciting to use. And the last criteria is, does it work? I would say 99% of the things out there, they sound good, but they just plain don't work. For example, have you read the book The Secret? Were you inspired? Chances are you were inspired. But other than feeling
5

better, did it actually work for you? See, that's the difference between me and most of the other authors. I test my own work. Now, I cannot say you'll become a billionaire with what I'm about to teach you, because I'm not a billionaire yet. But what I can tell you is, of all the things I've read about the law of attraction, I'm teaching you only the things that have really worked for me. So what's the bottom line of all of this? If you don't want to get screwed, make sure that the resources you buy follow the following simple criteria. They're simple, they're specific, step-bystep, they actually work, they make you independent, free, and competent, they're fun to use, you're not dependent on any CD or vitamin, et cetera, and you can use them by yourself. So that was my list of criteria that you can use right away to not get screwed when you're buying information in the natural health movement. Now let's go directly into the law of attraction.

How Does it Really work? The Theory.

So let's see how the law of attraction actually works. Now I say law of attraction. You could replace that with getting what you want. So I'm going to tell you how it works, and then later on I'm going to show you a formula that you can use, and I think it's going to be different from most of what you've read about the law of attraction up until now. So let's begin with defining the law of attraction. Simply put, you become what you think about most of the time. What that means is if you think about what you want, you're going to get what you want, and if you think about what you don't want, you're going to get what you don't want. Now I can hear you saying, "Wow, Olivier, that's really revolutionary information." But here's the thing. How can you tell whether you're thinking about what you want or not and not go completely insane? The answer is through your emotions, and that's quite interesting, isn't it? The better you feel, the more you're thinking about what you want, and the worse you feel the more you're thinking about what you don't want. Here's the good news. The universe is kinesthetic based. What that means is, the universe does not react to your actions, but to your emotions. Simply put, the universe will provide you with circumstances and situations that will basically amplify the feeling
7

you're feeling right now. So if you're feeling frustrated, you will continue to experience things that will make you feel more frustrated. Then you will become completely enraged. On the other hand, if you're feeling grateful, good stuff will keep showing up in your life. So that's why I'm saying the most important thing you can do is feel good now, or monitor your feelings. The worse you feel, the more you'll get shit that you don't want in your life, and the better you feel, the more you'll get what you want, whether it's money, health, losing weight, improving relationships. There's an actual phenomenon of amplification. So how exactly does it work? Normally it starts with thoughts, then "stuff" follows. So for example, you're feeling really, really angry these days. So the first thing you're going to attract is likeminded thoughts. Now when I say vibrations, frequencies, energies, and emotions, they're all the same thing. So, when you're feeling bad, through the law of attraction, you attract likeminded thoughts. So you'll find stuff from your past or your future that will support you into feeling angry. That's the first step. The second step is if you continue these feelings of frustration or anger, then you're going to attract stuff, people, situations, and events in your life that are of the same emotional or vibrational nature. Now let's take a positive example. So you're thinking about losing weight and you're using the formula I'm going to teach you. So when you think about your goal, you feel good. Well, you're going to attract thoughts that are on the same vibration. So for example, you're feeling good about losing weight and suddenly all these thoughts are coming to you about things to could do to lose weight. So you're going to attract in the coming days or
8

sometimes even minutes, people, situations, circumstances, and events that will bring you closer to your goal, and ultimately you're going to get your goal. So, in summary, the most important thing you can do is feel good now. Not tomorrow, not when you get a raise, but feel good now because it indicates that you are in line with your dreams. Continue reading on and I'm going to show you exactly how to feel good now.

How to Actually Always Feel Good.

Now I can hear you saying, "Yeah, always feel good? I don't think that's possible. Feel good now? That's not really simple for me because I've got such and such problems in my life." I agree with you. Here's the thing. Let's say again why feeling good is the most important thing. It's because it is through your own feelings or your emotions that you know whether you are creating what you want through the law of attraction or not. Simply put, when you're feeling like shit, you're attracting shit in your life. When you're feeling good, you're attracting good stuff in your life. It can't get more simple or clear than that. But let me elaborate on feeling good now. What I mean by that is, feel as good as you can right now. Now the trick is to realize that feeling better has to be incremental, in other words, a little bit at a time. That means baby steps. You can't go from total enragement to blissfully happy. It's too big of a jump. You can't go from feeling like killing yourself to blissfully happy. That's too big of an emotional jump. What you want to do is look for small incremental steps to take. So for example, when you're feeling angry, you can go from feeling angry to feeling a little less angry, and then a little less, and then a little less, and then at some point you might be just frustrated. But frustration is better than anger. So you focus on that sense of relief, feel a little bit better, a little
10

bit better, and then from frustration you just become annoyed. But from annoyance, then you can feel maybe hopeful or just curious, and from curiosity then hopeful and from hopeful you can feel better and better and better. Because basically there's only two feelings: Feeling better or feeling worse, and there's a whole plethora of different feelings from depression to vengeance to curiosity to hopefulness to happy to passionate to love, et cetera. So here's the bottom line. When you feel bad, you want to feel a little less bad. And when you're feeling good, you want to keep feeling better and better and better. The key here is to not jump. That's a mistake I tried to make for a long time, going from anger to instantly feeling the best I felt in my whole life, which brings me to a tool I'm going to teach you called the scale.

11

The Scale (no wait, its actually really cool.)

Now what is the scale and why should you care? I think that the trick I'm about to teach you will remove the main obstacle that stops 99% of people from being able to use the law of attraction successfully. Imagine in front of you, a scale. On one side of the scale, you have the why, and on the other side there's the how. Here are some words that you could put on the why side: Emotions, thoughts, desires, goals, dreams, inspiration, energy, frequency, imagination, anything that is non-physical. And on the how side of the scale you have things like: Action plans, techniques, methods, physical movement. See the difference between the two? We've been trained to believe that the thinking is good, but the most important thing to do is the "how", or actions. There's a guru that's saying that massive action can be a cure for all problems. So we've been brainwashed into thinking that the how is important. Now, we've established that the universe reacts to your emotions, or basically everything in the universe is energy. So the real truth
12

is to get your goals, you have to put 99% of your energy on the why side of the scale, and only 1% on the how, because if your thinking is right, then you're going to get results. Here's the bottom line. Most people when they have a goal, they say, "I don't know how Im going to reach it." You're $50,000 in debt and you want to become a millionaire and you go, "How am I going to do this?" Since they don't know their how, they don't believe they're going to get it. And if they don't believe that they're going to reach their goal, then they're never going to achieve it. So here's the problem. When a new desire is born within you, for example for a fraction of a second you'd like to attract the perfect mate in your life or you'd like to buy an amazing luxury car or you'd like to lose weight or you'd like to become a millionaire. In the instant that you have the inspiration for that goal, for a fraction of a second you'll feel amazing. But a couple of seconds later, your brain is going to kick in and you're going to say, "How am I going to do this?" And when you look around you, there's no way you could possible reach that goal. It really seems impossible. Now here's the solution. When a new desire is born within you, you will never initially know how to get it. It will always seem impossible for you to get your goal. But that's okay, because you know now something that most people will never know, and that is that the how is irrelevant. If you're thinking about what you want and you use the formula I'm about to teach you, since the universe reacts to your emotions, to the vibrations you're beaming, the how will appear to you step-by-step if you're thinking the correct way. So, the message of the scale is that whenever you have a dream, you will never initially know how to get it. But don't let that stop you, because you now know that 99% of your job is the thinking or the why, not the how. So that being said, let's look together at
13

the actual formula that works for you to use the law of attraction to get what you want.

The Actual Formula

Let's look at the actual formula that works to allow you to get whatever you want with the law of attraction. Let's start with the 3 steps.

The Three Steps

The first thing you've got to do is decide what you want. In other words, define what you want. Now, there's 3 ways you can define what you want. Your goal can be specific, general, or just a feeling. So an example of specific could be, "I want that exact diamond ring." More general could be, "I'd like to have a beautiful diamond ring." Or a feeling is, "I want to feel rich, I want to feel important, I want to feel like I'm surrounded by luxury." So the question is, which way should you define your dream? Should you be specific, general, or a feeling? Well, there's 2 answers to that. First of all, it really depends on your feeling, because it's always your feelings that tell you whether you're in
14

line or not. The second thing is, most of the time it's better to be general. Why? Well, lets say that Jeremy fell in love with Mary. Now he says, "I want Mary in my life." That's very specific. But what he doesn't know is, Vanessa is going to be working with him in about 3 weeks, and really Vanessa is 100 times better for Jeremy than Mary, but Jeremy doesn't know that. So all Jeremy is working towards is being with one specific person instead of being open to whoever is best for him. This is why we're not really that intelligent. So it's better to let the universe provide us with exactly what we want or something better. So what Jeremy would do is state what he likes about Mary and say, "I want these characteristics in a woman in my life." Does that make sense? So that's number one. You want to define what you want, either specific, general, or a feeling. The thing is, when you go more with general or feelings, you have less resistance than if you're very, very specific. As a rule of thumb, if what you're wanting is available in a high quantity, you can be very specific. On the other hand, if what you're desiring is unique, then you want to be general. An example is, if you want a specific car, then you can be as specific as you want because there's thousands of those particular vehicles. But if you find a specific house you'd like to live in, well, since other people could buy it instead of you, you just want to be general. I want a house that has the same features or the same feeling that this house provides me with. That's number one. Define what you want. The second thing is, get a burning desire to get it. That was a phrase used by Napoleon Hill in Think and Grow Rich. And to me, it never meant anything, but if you translate that into simple English, it means, do you have high, powerful, intense, positive
15

emotions when you're thinking about what you want, or are you feeling bad? So the second thing is you've got to feel good when you think about your dream that you've just defined. If you're feeling bad, it means you're not in line, and I'm going to show you in the following pages exactly how to fix that. Now the third step in the formula is you've got to believe 100% that you're going to get your goal. I'm going to say that again. You've got to believe 100% that you're going to get your goal. Otherwise, you're not going to get it. So the formula is simple. You define what you want, you've got a positive emotion when you think about it, and you're certain you're going to get it. Now, at this point, you might have the same thoughts that I had when I learned that formula. This is completely stupid. Of course I can use the law of attraction on stuff that I'm 100% certain that I can get. For example, if right now I want to buy a beer, I can go to the grocery store and buy one. I want to use the law of attraction to get the dreams that seem impossible to me. That's a good question and I'm going to show you how to do that in the following pages. So let's go to the second element in the formula, what I call the zone.

16

The zone
Now, what's the zone? Well, the zone is basically the word I use to describe the criteria that has to be present when you think about your goal in order for you to get it. You know your goal is in the zone when you're thinking about it and it's big enough to excite you, yet small enough that you're certain you're going to get it. Let's do a technique together. Get a piece of paper and a pen, and for 5 or 10 minutes, I want you to write all the things you would buy, all the things you would do, and all the things you would like to be if money was not a problem and you were certain you couldn't fail. So do that, and then come back here. All right, so now you maybe have 10 or 15 or 100 goals or dreams you've written down. What I want you to do now is to evaluate them on a scale of 0 to 10, zero meaning you absolutely do not believe that you can get that goal in the next 6 months. A 10 out of 10 would be you're absolutely certain that you're going to get that goal within 6 months. So go ahead and evaluate each one of your goals, then come back here.
17

All right, so basically what you have now is a list of goals, stuff you'd like to have in your life, and they're graded or evaluated from 0 up to 10. Now, what I want you to do is zoom on one dream, one goal that you have on your list. It has to be an 8, 9, or 10 out of 10. Why? Because these are the goals that you're certain you're going to get. Now, when I learned that, I said, "Okay, this is stupid but I'm going to try it." So I said, I want to eat in one of Montreal's best 5 star Asian food restaurant, but I don't want to pay for it. And I kind of believed it could happen, so for a couple of weeks I just thought about that a couple times per day, and believe it or not, in 3 weeks I was invited to the number one Japanese restaurant in Montreal and I didn't pay for anything and it cost something like $150 per person, which here in Montreal is like a billion dollars. So I was really excited that it worked, and then I felt something I've never felt before. My belief in my ability to use the law of attraction dramatically increased, because for the first time in my life I really used the law of attraction to get something. This is the trick that nobody knows. If you start with big goals that you don't believe, it doesn't work. So the trick is, you've got to start with small goals. But after a while after you've gotten 3 or 4 or 5 of those, then your belief in attaining your goals through the law of attraction actually explodes, and then you can go for goals that you might have ranked as 5, 6, or 7 out of 10. So the trick is to start with small goals, get them, and then to set bigger and bigger goals. That's how you do it, and that's what nobody teaches you. Now there's another way you could do that. If you really want to get one of your biggest goals and when you think about it it's like a 2 out of 10, let's say for example you have $50,000 in debt and you want to become a multi-millionaire. So your big goal is to make $10 million a year. So what you would do is find a sub-goal
18

that is between where you are right now, which is $50,000 in debt, and your ultimate goal which would be $10 million a year. Now, the key is that sub-goal, or that next logical step, it has to be in the zone, meaning big enough that it excites you and small enough that you're certain you're going to get it. So it could be, for example, to reduce your debt from $50,000 to $48,000. So in summary, the zone is simple. If you want to get your goal, your dream has to be in the zone. And you know it's in the zone when it's big enough to excite you and it's small enough that you know you're going to get it. There's 2 ways you can apply this. Either you start with smaller goals and as you get them your ability to believe in the law of attraction will increase, and then after a while you can go after your biggest goal, or you can start with the big goal, but chunk it down to a sub-goal, your next logical step, and make sure that this next logical step is in the zone. That being said, follow me to the next part of the book. We're going to get to what I call beaming.

19

Beaming
Now what is beaming? It's very simple. It relates to the following question. "Olivier, if I'm doing everything exactly the way you're saying, how quickly will I get my goal?" Well, there's 3 variables that will determine the speed at which you're going to get your goal. First, the intensity of the emotion, second, the frequency, and third, the resistance. Let's start with the first one, intensity. That means, when you think about your goal, is the emotion you're feeling weak or is it very, very strong? If it's weak, then it's going to take more time for you to get it. If it's very, very strong it's going to take less time. The second part is the frequency. Now, if you have a goal and you think about it once a week for 20 seconds, it's going to take more time for you to get it than if you're thinking about it all the time. And the third part is resistance. This can be expressed as doubt or fears. So if you're thinking of a goal you'd like to have, you feel
20

really, really good when you think about it, you're thinking about it all the time and you're certain you're going to get it, there's no resistance and it will come rushing toward you. So lets put this to use. It takes about 67 seconds for a vibration to hold. So when I talk about beaming, here's what you do. You imagine that you already have your goal in your reality, and you focus on the emotions that you're going to feel once you get the goal. And the way I use it is I describe out loud how my reality is going to be once I get my goal, and you want to do that for at least 67 seconds. And then what's going to happen is you will feel in your body, in your energy field. You will actually feel that vibration being active in your field and it will stick. So what you want to do is do this whenever you have time during the day, and the more often you do it the quicker you're going to get your goal. Which brings me to the other point, what I call the chief aim.

Chief Aim
Now chief aim is something I got from Napoleon Hill. You can use the phrase chief aim or magnificent obsession, or singleness of purpose. What this means is you want to find one of your goals and focus all of your energy on it. It doesn't mean you can't have other goals, but like we've said, if you focus most of your energy on one goal, you're going to get it quicker. For example, if you have 12 goals and you think about them equally during the day, you're going to get them eventually. But the thing is, it's going to take much longer. So I want you to get results as fast as possible. So you need a chief aim. Now, when I say magnificent obsession, it's very simple. If you've done your job well, when you're thinking about your goal you feel better. So thinking about it all the time is going
21

to make you feel better. And what happens when you feel good? Yes, the universe provides you with circumstances, people, events, and situations that will amplify that good feeling. See how the whole thing is connected together? So it's very simple. All you want to do is decide which of your goals are going to be your chief aim or singleness of purpose. It basically means that you're going to focus most of your energies on that goal. Which brings me to the last part of the formula, which are distinctions.

Distinctions
There are a couple of tricks I want to give you that will help you make this work better. Number one, do not put a time limit on obtaining your goal. I know Tony Robbins says you've got to use a time limit, but that's fucking retarded. It doesn't work. How can you know when you're going to get the goal? So for example, you want to attract the perfect mate in your life. Should you write 15th of January? You don't know that. So don't put a date or a time limit, because instantly it makes you doubt and it makes you become afraid. So that's something you don't want to do. The second thing is the power of words. Some people are still, to this day, arguing with me that the words are important. So some people will say you can't say cash, you have to use the term abundance. So if your goal, for example, is to make $50,000 a month, you can't say I want to make $50,000 because I want to make more cash. You have to say abundance. Here's the bottom line. The word is not important. What's important is the vibration attached to it. So if saying abundance makes you feel
22

better, say abundance. But if you, like me, prefer the word cash, then use the word cash. The exact terminology you use is not important. What's important is to use a formula that works, and the bottom line is always the same thing. It's how you feel that's important. I'd like to give you a quote that I learned that I really like, and it says, "You go as far as you can see and then you'll see the next step." What that means is, the way life is you can't know in advance what you're going to do in 5 years from now. So when you're trying to achieve a goal, simply focus on the next logical step. So you go as far as you can see, get to the next step, and then you'll be able to see further. It's the same thing when I talk about feeling good now. Just focus on feeling a little a bit better now, and in 2 hours you'll see then what your next step is. But that sentence really helps me feel better. So you go as far as you can see and then you'll see further. And the last quote I want to give you is simply this: Thoughts plus action equals success. Thoughts plus action equals success. What do I mean by that? Well, let's begin with thoughts. If you have used the formula and your goal is in the zone, when you think about it you're going to feel good, and when you feel good you're going to be inspired to take action. Now here's the difference. When you're going to take action, when you're going to actually do something, it's going to feel fantastic. You're going to feel inspired, you're going to feel good, you're going to feel energized. And that will give you results. So thoughts plus action equals success, means when your thinking is right, you're thinking about what you want and it's in the zone for you, you're going to feel wonderful and you're going to take action, but you're going to feel good while taking the action, and that will give you results. The problem that most people have, is when they're taking action they feel bad, and that's why it doesn't work.
23

Conclusion
I hope you've enjoyed this book. As I said, it's to the point and simple. If you have questions, feel free to ask me. I intend to write other books on this topic, so keep your eye out for more. You can reach me via email at : omagnan@aei.ca If you have comments or questions, send them to me. Ill try to incorporate them in the following volumes. Some people have asked me what the best books are to read about the law of attraction. To be honest with you, I've only found 2 good sources of information about it, aside from my own experience. I have found bits and pieces of good information from many different sources, but there are 2 resources in particular that I've found to be the most informative. The first one is Abraham-Hicks' books. All of their books and tapes are really
24

good. The best book I've seen is Ask and it is Given. In terms of MP3s or CDs, if you can get any of their tapes where Abraham is answering live questions from people from the audience, these are the best sources. The second best resource I've found is the Global Information Network. Keep in mind, this is a bit more expensive than Hicks' material. I've found some of the stuff to be really, really good, while some of the information is not that good. But overall, I can say that these are the 2 places I've found the best information. If you'd like to learn more about the Global Information Network, you can click here : https://www.globalinformationnetwork.com/?AffiliateCode=152118 5 I would be your mentor. And if you like my stuff and you want to join the Global Information Network, you can use my code which is 1521185.
