Offering last week was $1,234.50. Attendance last week was 40. June 27, Wed.- Youth Bible Study at Travis & Carolyns house, 7 p.m. There will be NO Bible Study on July 4. June 28, Thurs.-Jr. Youth Group will meet from 7 p.m.-8:30 p.m. at the church.

July 1, Sun.-Will be our regular, first-Sunday of the month fellowship meal, also you can sign-up to help serve on the small whiteboard on the refrigerator in the church kitchen. July 2, Mon.-MCC is hosting Youth Service Day at MCC Material Aid Center from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. If schedules allow, this would be an excellent opportunity for Mentors and Mentees or Sunday School teachers with their class to build relationships and to meet other youth throughout our conference. Snacks are provided. Bring your own lunch. RSVP to Lisa Heft at 733-2847. Lena Brown July 8, Sun.-Join us for an evening of fellowship and ice cream at 7 p.m. as Esther Snader talks about her experiences in China. July 15, Sun.-The annual outdoor historical and inspirational meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. at Allegheny Mennonite Meetinghouse. Enjoy speakers and special music. Please bring your lawn chair and a Church and Sunday School Hymnal to this service. In the event of rain, the service will be held in the meetinghouse. For more information, call 610-777-3003 or 717-278-8459. July 22, Sun.-10:00 a.m. Worship Service & Fellowship Meal at Woodcrest Retreat in Oak Shade pavilion. (Bring lawn chairs.) We will again plan the worship service to be an opportunity for families and individuals in our church family to honor God in a variety of ways through the many gifts and talents He has blessed us with. (Songs, skits, readings, instruments, pictures, stories, were just some of the ways we worshiped last year.) What might you share? Sign-up on the sheet in the back of the church in the narthex, or talk to Phil or Kelly Horning. For the fellowship meal, if possible, please bring a hot and cold dish as you would for a normal fellowship meal. -Want to reach out to your neighbor but don't know how? July 9th is National Sugar Cookie Day. Why not bake some cookies and deliver them along with a Gehman Mennonite Cookbook. Want other ideas? See the flyer in your mailbox. -We are in need of a couple of lunch items, soup, baked goods, for the Chinese Summer camp being held here from July 16-30. There is a sign up sheet in the Narthex. Thank you. -If anyone is interested in hosting a Chinese student or female chaperone from July 16-30, please let Loretta Gockley know ASAP. We are still in need of a few homes. Families with children of any age are needed, the children love having brothers and sisters! -Looking for a local service project this summer? The Bookworm Frolica four-day used-book sale to benefit the Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society will be held August 1518. We need help now to sort donated books, and we need help before, during and after the sale for a variety of jobspacking and unpacking books, running a cash register, organizing sales tables, making or selling baked goods, parking cars, etc. These are great activities for youth groups and Sunday School classes.
