Formula: S + wishes/wish + had + V3 S + wishes/wish + had not + V3 Example: He wishes he had studied hard at school. I woke up very late this morning. I wish had gone to bed earlier last night. Many people wishes that John F. Kennedy had not gone to Dallas in 1963.

4. Special uses of will/would and should in clauses Generally said that auxiliary verb will/would and should not use in the back if of conditional sentence, but there are certain exceptions: If you will/would/ can use in the polite request. If + will/would can use everybody for demonstrate a willingness. If + would like/ care can use instead of if/want/wish.
