TCAA Backyarder

Greetings! You are cordially invited to compete in the Inaugural Texas Celtic Athletic Associations Backyarder, to be held Sunday, July 29th, 2012, in Forest Park, Fort Worth, TX. Yup, thats a whole bunch of commasgrammatically correct. The entry deadline is July 21st, which means your entry form must be postmarked by July 21st. Entries postmarked after July 21st will be subject to a $10 late fee for a total entry fee of $30.00.1 This is a backyard type Gameswe are going to do things quick, fast, and in a hurry. We are going to do all nine events for the fellas and the Ladies. We recently became a 501(3)c, and are using this Games as a kinda-sorta fundraiser for the Womens Challenge and Celtober. This is an amateur athletic event and a standard waiver form is required in order to compete. Return the registration and waiver forms to: Duncan McCallum 9129 Tate Ave Fort Worth, TX 76244 Athletes must check-in at the Judges table at 8:00 a.m. CST. Yall are grown-ups please dont be late; besides, its freaking July in North TexasI dont know about yall, but I dont want to be messing with the sheaf towers at 0-dark-thirty. Competition will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. CST.* Athletic Rules Please be sure to retain a copy of these rules along with a copy of your entry and waiver forms for your own records. 1. All athletes are required wear a KILT and KILT HOSE. Kilts must be traditional and have no external pockets. Wear a real kilt. For real for real. Mini-kilts and/or tartan underwear is not going to cut it. If you are reading this and wondering if I am talking about your kilt, then yes, I probably am. Yall are people not objects. 2. NASGA/RMSA rules will be used for judging. Scoring for the competition will be 1 point for 1st place, 2 points for 2nd and so on through the number of competitors. The athlete with the lowest score wins. All decisions of the Judges and Athletic Director are final. 3. Athletes will be expected to conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner, maintaining a friendly and respectful attitude toward the public, officials and other competitors. Cursing will be kept to a level the audience cannot hearbut if its funny, repeat it cuz you know Im good for a laugh.3

Entries postmarked after the July 21st deadline can be returned or kept at the discretion of the AD. It is at the ADs discretion to allow late shows to compete. Yall make it easy and be on time.

The AD has the discretion to remove a competitor from the games if said competitor fails to follow the athletic rules for conduct.
