1. Insert the AS/400 Client Access Family for Windows CD to CD-ROM driver. 2. Run [Windows Explorer] and Choose the directory as bellow screen. 3. Double Click & Run the [launch.exe]

4. Now the installation of CA/400 will be run.

After install initialization, you can see [Welcome message] as follows. Click [Next] Button.

6. The Screen shows about the licence information. Click the [Next] Button.

7. The Next screen shows the Type of Installation options. Click the [PC5250 User] Button.

8. The Next screen asks directory to be installed. Click the [Next] Button.
9. The Next screen asks you about modifying [Autoexec.bat] file. SIN400 System

10. The Next Screen asks you about shortcut folder name. Click the [Next] button.

11. The Next screen shows you about install item list. Click the [Next] Button.

12. Now the installation is processed. ( Wait until the processes are finished. )

13. The next screen shows installation is completed. Click the [Next] Button.

14. The next screen asks you whether restart your PC. Click the [Finish] button.
. AS/400 Client Access Configuration

1. After your PC restarted, You need the [Client Access/400 Express Configuration]. 2. Double click the [IBM AS400 Client Access Express] Icon on the windows background.

3. Double click the [Emulator] Icon.

4. Double click the [Start or Configure Session] Icon.

5. If the next screen shows as bellows, Please Click the [Configure] Button.

* This part is very important to setup for [CA/400 Display Session].

6. This is [Configure PC5250] Screen . Please type in some of information as bellows. - [System name] : 203.242.35.18(Type your system IP address) SIN400 System

AS/400 Client Access [Workstation ID] : CXXXD999(If you assigned in a group) Meaning C : Client Access XXX : Your Area Code D : Workstation ( if Printer Session is [P] ) 999 : Each Workstations Sequence number Select the [Type of emulation] : Display Select the [Host code page] : 37 United States [Port number] : 23
7. Click the [OK] Button.
8. [ AS/400 Signon Information ] Select the [ Use default user ID, prompt as needed ] And Type in your own [UserID] of HMM Main System. Then Click the [OK] Button.

9. Type your own UserID and Password on [HMM/SIN Main Screen].

10. [Save & Exit of Current configuration] Click the [File] option on the Menu. And Click the [Exit].

AS/400 Client Access 11. The Dial log box asks you about [Saving the current definitions]. Click the [Yes] button.
12. [Save Workstation Profile as] Type in File Name as [HMM.ws]. then Click the [OK] button.

AS/400 Client Access [Windows Start] -> [Find] -> Search the filename as [HMM.ws] and Create the Shortcut to windows background Using the right button on the mouse.

[Creating of the Printer Session]

* Preparing Firstly You need Install the printer & Setup the [Printer] option, at [control panel] on windows. 13. Double click the [Emulator] Icon.

16. Double click the [Start or Configure Session] icon.

* This part is very important to setup for [CA/400 Printer Session].

18. This is [Configure PC5250] Screen . Please type in some of information as bellows. A. [System name] : 203.242.35.18(your system IP address) B. [Workstation ID] : CXXXP999 Meaning C : Client Access XXX : Your Area Code P : Printer ( if Workstation Session is [D] ) 999 : Each Printers Sequence number C. Select the [Type of emulation] : Printer D. Select the [Host code page] : 37 United States E. [Port number] : 23 19. Click the [Setup] Button on the [Pritner] option.

20. [ PC5250 Printer Emulation Setup] Message Queue : CXXXD999 ( this is your own Display session ) Font for AS/400 print file : Default is [Courier 10]. (you can change it) Click & Mark the [Transform print data to ASCII on AS/400] Printer model : Choose the your own printer model 21. Click the [OK] button.
22. Click the [OK] button.

23. The screen shows [Printer Session] , if your setting is complete. The Screen shows the status as [Ready] and [On-Line].

24. [Save & Exit of Current configuration] Click the [File] option on the Menu. And Click the [Exit].

27. [Creating the Shortcut to windows background.] [Windows Start] -> [Find] -> Search the filename as [HMMPRT.ws] and Create the Shortcut to windows background Using the right button on the mouse.

Setup Completed !!!

Dont forget next step, you need install the service pack file for CA/400. This is very useful for some error of CA/400 Application. Such as printing problem etc. So, it should be installed in .

AS/400 Client Access Service Pack Installation

1.
Pls. Copy SI05361.EXE file from CD to your own fold that will installed Service Pack.
And click the file. It will be extracted automatically.
2. Double Click the setup program file the directory.

4. After reading [readmesp] file , Click the [Next] Button.

5. The installation is processing.

6. Choose the [Yes,I want to restart my computer now] check box. And click the [Finish] Button.
