Spring Showers Bring May Flowers!

We got our landscaping done! A landcaping company gave us a bid, which was four times over our budget but the gentlemen that cuts our grass did it for us. It looks so nice with the new deck! I cant wait till all the plants are full grown. I must say I am still overwhelmed with our new home. God is so good! We got several letters from inmates that apprecated Eugene McQuires Miracle Story. We also have several inmate in the process of seeking new trials, pre-release, supreme court hearings and so forth. Keep them in your prayers for the favor of God! Please know that not all inmates get to leave prison as some inmates do die in prison. It really doesnt matter where we are when we leave this world but that we know Jesus Christ as our personal savior for our destination is out of this world HEAVEN! We are so thankful that we are able to continue to visit the inmates even with the price of gas. Its because of your generous giving that we are able to go and we thank you! Our church has been in a prayer convenant, praying an hour a day for our community and we are now on day 99. I came across an ebook written by Ann Kramer titled Intercessor For A Righteous Nation. So in this newsletter I am including some prayer scriptures for your city, county, state, nation, & world. These scripture can apply to any place you are, prison, home etc.!

Scripture Prayers For Your City...

These are declarative prayers. God has given us the awesome privilege and responsibility to be His mouthpiece, the VOICE of His WORD in the earth. Thank you, Father, that You are restoring the judges of our city as at the first and our counselors as at the beginning. We call our city RIGHTEOUSa FAITHFUL city. (Isaiah 1:26). Father, we declare that because we are SEEKING the peace and welfare of our city, and PRAYING to YOU for it, we are ENJOYING peace and welfare. (Jeremiah 29:7). Father, we declare that this city is being delivered because the believers of this city acknowledge our poverty of spirit, by not looking to our own wisdom, but drawing from the wisdom that is from above. (Ecclesiastes 9:15).
DECLARATIVE PRAYERS The VOICE Of HIS WORD

Father, we declare that Your people in this city are not caught up in building our own houses and adorning them, but we are consumed with building YOUR house; and therefore, YOU are the Keeper and Guard of our city. (Haggai 1:9; Psalm 127:1). Father, we declare that our city is rejoicing because it is going well with the uncompromisingly righteous. By the blessing of the influence of the UPRIGHT, we call our city EXALTED. (Proverbs 11:10-11). Father, we declare that because Your people of this city are wise, we are scaling the city walls of the mighty and bringing down the strongholds in which this city trusts. (Proverbs 21:22). Thank you, Father, that You are purging our city of scoffers who would set it afire, inflaming the minds of the people, and because Your people are using Godly wisdom, we are turning away wrath. (Proverbs 29:8).

Going past the prison walls to take the Love of Jesus.

Father, we lift our voice to declare the song that You have given us to sing over our city, which says, "We have a strong city, the Lord sets up salvation as walls and bulwarks." (Isaiah 26:1). Father, we declare that Your people in this city are called a HOLY people, the REDEEMED of the Lord. We call this city SOUGHT OUT, a city NOT FORSAKEN. (Isaiah 62:12). continued on page 4

THIS IS A JOB FOR GOD
Isaiah 58:6-8 Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke? Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, And that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out: When you see the naked, that you cover him, And not hide yourself from your own flesh? Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard. There is nothing that the devil dreads more than a praying Christian. Satan laughs at our hard work, but he trembles when we pray. Prayer puts things in Gods hands. Jesus taught us to be persistent and to never give up praying. He said to ask and keep on asking. He said to seek and keep on seeking. Prayer is about turning situations over to the Lord and trusting in Him. Isaiah tells us that when our backs are against the wall, its time to go on a fast. When we need a breakthrough, we must deny our flesh and seek the Lord. We dont fast and pray to please God; we do it to increase our faith. Fasting is about changing us and not God. (There are many types of fasts.) God is searching for people that will build up the wall of righteousness and stand in the gap in prayer. Things do not change unless someone is praying. When you pray over the salvation of friends and relatives, God dispatches His angels and His spirit to deal with people. People may run from things you say, but they cant run from the voice of God. Jesus said that there are some things that can only be changed through prayer and fasting. Make up your mind to pray and not give up and the Lord will hear your cry. If you need a breakthrough in your life, youll have to deny your flesh and seek God in a whole new way. The Apostle Paul said to pray without ceasing. One of the greatest things that happens when you fast is your prayer life automatically increases. There is something about denying your flesh that causes your spirit man to rise up. You can wage war against spiritual forces if you want to, but the real war is inside you. The real war is your flesh and the fight of faith. The real war is your will, versus Gods will. Fasting and praying may weaken you physically, but it will cause you to rise to a higher level. God is not going to answer your prayers because you deserve it. Hes going to answer them because you used your faith and you never quit. Pray over everything and worry over nothing. When the people of God begin to pray, God dispatches angels and pushes back the hand of the enemy. If we pray today in one accord, there will be a jailbreak in your life. We will see the greatest harvest of souls that weve ever seen in this church. We will see everyone of your family members come to know the Lord. Its time to pray!

"We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well, because you had become so dear to us." 1 Thessalonians 2:8

Seek ye out of the book of the Lord, and read; NOT ONE OF THESE SHALL FAIL..." Isaiah 34:16 KJV When constructing a building, a scaffold is often needed to aid in the process of completion. However, when the building is finished, the scaffold is no longer needed. These scripture prayers are merely a scaffold. They are not the building itself. They are designed to assist us in building the Word of God into our hearts, and teach us how to pray the Word in any given situation. The more the Word of God is deposited within us, the more spontaneous our prayers will become, as the Holy Spirit brings to our remembrance specific scriptures which apply to the area upon which we are focusing. Once we have the mentality of praying the Word, we will find that as we are reading the Word, many other scriptures will begin to come alive for the purpose of prayer.

You are an Extended Hand and a vital part of this ministry. Together we are making a difference with Jesus Christ, taking life to a dark place! We go because ou send us. Thank You so much!
