Chukat 2012
For Torah studiers, this weeks Torah portion Chukat/Decree of covering Numbers 19:1-22:1 presents quite a challenge! This is the parshah concerning the unusual ritual law of the Red Heifer sacrifice. A commandment so perplexing from the natural, where what is clean becomes unclean and what is unclean is made clean, it is said that even King Solomon was unable to understand it! Yet Proverbs 25:2 It is the glory of Elohim to conceal a thing: but the honor of kings is to search out a matter. Conceal: Strongs #5641 cathar to hide, conceal; 2 letter root is also the root of towr (#8450) bull, cattle; as well as Torah Search out: Strongs #2713 chaqar to search out, search for, examine, or investigate; it has the same 2 letter root as chukat! *Could it be that the mystery of the Torah is concealed/hidden within this portion, and weve been charged with understanding this very decree (chukat) that has puzzled so many for centuries? It would seem so! This is the 39th portion of the year. 39 = Strongs #1353 geullah kindred, redemption, right of redemption, price of redemption; the term is typically used in legal contexts denoting who can redeem, what they can redeem, when and for how much. The gematria of Proverbs 25:2 = 1669, same value as Ruth 3:12 which also deals with this concept of the right of redemption And now it is true that I [am thy] near kinsman: howbeit there is a kinsman nearer than I. We often refer to Yahshua as our redeemer, throughout the Scriptures the term is used in reference to Him as well (Example: Job 19:25 For I know my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth.) But we often fail to remember that this is a legal term, one first has to have the right to redeem, and then the details of who/what, when, and the price. This portion then becomes extremely important in helping us to understand our position as one redeemed and how weve gotten here! Revelation 12:10 refers to hasatan as the accuser of the brethren. Accuser: Strongs #2723 kategoreo to accuse, to make an accusation before a judge; its a term with legal implications just like redeemer. *Were also told that this individual is cast down in the last days, so as the generation who will deal with this accuser, it would behoove us to understand what it means to be redeemed, to understand our covenant, and to search out this mystery of the Torah! By doing so, youll be in

the category of those who overcome! Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. Numbers 19:1-3 Ordinance: Strongs #2708 chuqqah statute, ordinance, limit, enactment, something prescribed; this is the feminine form of choq which has the same meaning; from #2710 chaqaq to cut out, decree, inscribe, set, engrave, portray, govern Law: Strongs #8451 Towrah

law, direction, instruction

Yahwehs intention is to engrave/inscribe/cut the Torah into the Bride (hence the feminine form chuqqah) via this ordinance of the parah adumah! This particular phrase ordinance (chuqqah) of the law (torah) is only used to specifically refer to this sacrifice! Here in Numbers 19 and in Numbers 31 referring to the spoils of war that would be cleansed with the waters made from the red heifers ashes. statute, ordinance, something prescribed (engraved/inscribed) & = breath, Word (here chuqqah is written as chukat = instead of the the is attached, representing Torah/Covenant) once again emphasizing that through this ritual the Word of the Torah is being inscribed! The being reattached! *The fulfillment of Jeremiah 31:33 But this [shall be] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith Yahweh, I will put my law/Torah in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their Elohim, and they shall be my people. - hinges upon whatever is involved with this ordinance. Red: Strongs #122 adom red, ruddy; from #119 adam to be red, red; here its written as adumah the same letters as the word for ground, land (#127). = I will = blood & = breath/word I will blood you and by doing so the ( Word/Breath) is restored to the one who was formed from the adamah/ground! *Is it any wonder that the 1st reference of chuqqah is Genesis 26:5 Because that Abraham obeyed My voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes/chuqqah, and my laws. Abraham having the letter restored unto him as well! This statement I will blood you seems contrary to what is actually happening in this ritual, because it is the ashes that are mixed with

water that is sprinkled upon the unclean individual! Numbers 19:5 The red heifer was to be burned in its entirety (hide, flesh, blood, and even dung) all other sacrifices required the blood to be sprinkled/poured upon the altar or another specified location. But here as the blood is burned with the rest, it is assimilated into the ashes! Leviticus 17:11 For the life of the flesh [is] in the blood Ashes: Strongs #665 epher ashes; 2 letter root = aph (#639) nose, nostril; Genesis 2:7 And Yahweh formed man [of] the dust of the ground/adamah (play on words with the parah adumah spoken of now), and breathed into his nostrils/aph the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Dust: Strongs #6083 aphar dry earth, dust, powder, ashes; cognate of epher/ashes *The ritual of the red heifer sends us right back to the creation of Adam! The ashes/epher of the parah adumah that restore the breath into the nostrils/ remind us of the aphar/dust of the adamah that was breathed into by Yahweh as well! Aphar (350) Epher (281) = 69, the 69th verse is Genesis 3:13 And Yahweh said unto the woman, What [is] this [that] thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. Man loses the Word/Breath when they come in contact with the serpent, the dead thing/corpse! Now, in order to be redeemed they have to come in contact with the ashes of the red heifer, which causes the Torah/Word/ to be engraved upon them again! *Its setting up the structure/details of the right of redemption! The parah adumah has the right to redeem you from a state of death and uncleanness! Its through this that the blood (life) is assimilated back into the ashes/dust/one who has encountered death! *This word epher occurs 22 times in the Scriptures in 22 verses! 22 = the number of letters of the Hebrew Alephbet! And its also interesting to note that Proverbs 25:2 as well as Ruth 3:12 that we looked at earlier both had a gematria of 1,669 1 + 6 + 6 + 9 = 22 The mystery of the Torah that weve been charged with searching out has everything to do with the Language/Word of Yahweh being made flesh the Messiah, and becoming the red heifer sacrifice that then would cleanse the Bride who had come in contact with death and by doing so redeem us and cause us to be sprinkled/engraved/inscribed with those same Words/22 letters!! The gematria of parah adumah = 335, sam as har Sinai Israel follows the same pattern, after having been in contact with death in Egypt, theyre brought to the parah adumah at Mt. Sinai to be 3

cleansed and engraved with the Torah! Directly after reading the words of the Covenant to the people at the mountain, Exodus 24:8 And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled [it] on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which Yahweh hath made with you concerning all these words. Heifer: Strongs #6510 parah cow, heifer; from #6499 par bull or steer, also used in Hosea 14:2 describing the calves/fruit of our lips *It shares the same root as Pharaoh #6547) )great house, the difference is the letter = eye (Genesis 3:5 then your eyes shall be opened and ye shall be as gods) & the 3 letter root = #6544) )to let go, let loose, to unbind, describes how the hair of the adulterous woman when facing the bitter waters was unbound. But remember that the root can also refer to the calves of the lips/words The goal of Pharaoh/serpent is to cause the Words (the 22 letters/Torah) to be unbound from your = the womb of the mind! Deuteronomy 11:18 Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. * are also the same letters that when rearranged form the word aphar dust, ashes It was upon partaking of the fruit in the garden of the tree of knowledge that promised to open the eyes that death entered and man was proclaimed to return to the dust/aphar having the Word/Torah/Language unbound from him and replaced by the words of the serpent! But when sprinkled with this water of separation, that which was unclean became clean! Water of separation = mei niddah Gematria = 99, same as the phrase beapho into his nostrils (Gen. 2:7) = the musical note of mi coming from the phrase mi-re gestorum or miracle, vibrates at 528hz, the same frequency used to repair broken DNA! As we are sprinkled, it repairs the DNA of the niddah bride and causes that which had been unbound (the Word/Torah) to once again be breathed into our nostrils and inscribed on our hearts! *Ashes = forms the mirror image of rapha (#7495) healer, to heal or make healthful Sprinkle: Strongs #2236 zaraq to scatter, sprinkle, toss, throw, to scatter abundantly; 1st reference is Exodus 9:8 And Yahweh said unto Moses and unto Aaron, Take to you handfuls of ashes of the furnace, and let Moses sprinkle/zaraq it toward the heaven in the sight of Pharaoh.

*Notice the similarities between this and the red heifer ordinance! This is in the sight of Pharaoh just as the Red Heifer was to be burned in his sight referring to the High Priest (Numb. 19:5). Pharaoh shares the same 3 letter root as parah heifer. Ashes of the furnace are sprinkled by Mosheh the one from whom living water is drawn the water of separation. Ashes: Strongs #6368 piyach ashes, soot; from #6315 puwach to breathe, blow just like the meaning of the further connecting these 2! Yet the results are very different here in Egypt! Whats going on? Exodus 9:10 And they took ashes of the furnace, and stood before Pharaoh; and Moses sprinkled it up toward heaven; and it became a boil breaking forth [with] blains upon man, and upon beast. Boil: Strongs #7822 shechiyn boil, inflamed spot, inflammation, eruption; from an unused root meaning to burn Gematria = 368 Blains: Strongs #76 ababuot Gematria = 150

blisters, boils

368 + 150 = 518, 518th verse is Genesis 21:4 And Abraham circumcised his son Isaac being eight days old, as Elohim had commanded him. The flesh of the promised son is being cut off! Could it be that this particular judgment upon Egypt was making the statement in the face of Pharaoh, in the face of both Egypt and Israel alike, that the only way to be cleansed was via the sprinkling of the waters mixed with the ashes of the parah adumah representing the cutting off of the promised Son in the flesh! *The value of ashes (concerning the ashes of the red heifer) epher 281 =, same value as Mamre (#4471) strength, fatness; name of the location where YHVH visits Abraham and announces the birth of Isaac, the promised son, in 1 years time! These same judgments in Egypt are seen as well in Revelation concerning the time of Jacobs trouble. Again the opportunity is being presented for all to be sprinkled with the water of separation and be cleansed from death, having the Torah engraved upon the heart. Yet those who refuse the promised Son will have it made very clear to them that no other waters, no other ashes, will suffice! Revelation 16:10-11 *Notice that this is the 5th vial, just like the 5 = ,the number associated with grace! Noah found grace in the eyes of Yahweh because He was obedient, part of that obedience deal with his DNA being pure (uncontaminated by the seed of death). This will also be the criteria in the days ahead determining 5

whether we receive the or the vial of judgment. Remember the water of separation repair the DNA, it heals you and restores!
