With our partnership the customer undertook an initiative to install their infrastructure in selected exchanges and utilize the existing Unconditioned Local Loop (ULL) infrastructure to support their own Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) and Local Access Telephony (LAT) product offering. Avoiding any transaction vulnerabilities the contracts have been designed that would have both contributed to more dynamic efficiency. Objective of client is to meet the following: Service launch enablement Make necessary changes to network layer Provide OSS/BSS solutions Update business rules & processes Provide end-to-end testing of the services

MSat was awarded the project for The customer chose Mahindra Satyam because of its proactive approach in planning resulting faster delivery compared to other vendors. Mahindra Satyam has every capability in providing end to end solution in Telecom testing which is assured as foolproof and has the caliber of in business transformation tremendously. Challenges that were faced Multiple Vendors in different time zones (8 different vendors in three time zones) Needed to gain operational knowledge of large number of systems (totalling 20), including Legacy Systems, based on varied platforms. Aggressive delivery schedules The testing environment was extremely complex, making it extremely difficult for offshoring Shortened test execution window due to environment outages, code drops by different vendors and business rules within few systems allowing transactions to happen only in business hours from Monday to Friday. This meant using the available time optimally for executions and the remaining down time for test result verification and test data preparation.
