CONDITIONSBEFOREUSINGTHISPROGRAM.USINGTHISPROGRAMINDICATESYOURACCEPTANCEOFTHESETERMS
ANDCONDITIONS.
Theenclosedproprietaryencodedmaterials,hereinafterreferredtoastheLicensedProgram(s),arethepropertyof
ECESolutionsLLC,hereinafterreferredtoasECE,andareprovidedtoyouunderthetermsandconditionsofthis
LicenseAgreement.YouassumeresponsibilityfortheselectionoftheappropriateLicensedProgram(s)toachievethe
intendedresults,andfortheinstallation,use,andresultsobtainedfromtheselectedLicensedProgram(s).
License Grant
InreturnforthepaymentofthelicensefeeassociatedwiththeacquisitionoftheLicensedProgram(s)fromECE,ECE
herebygrantsyouthefollowingnonexclusiverightswithregardtotheLicensedProgram(s):
1.UseoftheLicensedProgram(s)ononemachine.
2.TotransfertheLicensedProgram(s)andlicenseittoathirdpartyifthethirdpartyacknowledgesinwritingits
agreementtoaccepttheLicensedProgram(s)underthetermsandconditionsofthisLicenseAgreement;ifyoutransfer
theLicensedProgram(s),youmustatthesametimeeithertransferallcopieswhetherprintedorinmachinereadable
formtothesamepartyordestroyanycopiesnotsotransferred;therequirementtotransferand/ordestroycopiesof
theLicensedProgram(s)containedormergedintootherprograms.
YouagreetoreproduceandincludethecopyrightnoticeasitappearsontheLicensedProgram(s)onanycopy,
modification,mergedportionoftheLicensedProgram(s).
THELICENSEDOESNOTGIVEYOUANYRIGHTTOUSE,MODIFY,ORTRANSFERTHELICENSEDPROGRAM(S)ORANY
COPY,MODIFICATION,ORMERGEDPORTIONTHEREOF,INWHOLEORINPART,EXCEPTASEXPRESSLYPROVIDEDIN
THISLICENSEDAGREEMENT.
IFYOUTRANSFERPOSSESSIONOFANYCOPY,MODIFICATION,ORMERGEDPORTIONOFTHELICENSEDPROGRAM(S)
TOANOTHERPARTY,THELICENSEGRANTEDHEREUNDERTOYOUISAUTOMATICALLYTERMINATED.
Term
ThisLicenseAgreementiseffectiveuponacceptanceanduseoftheLicensedProgram(s)untilterminatedin
accordancewiththetermsofthisLicenseAgreement.YoumayterminatetheLicenseAgreementatanytimeby
destroyingtheLicensedProgram(s)togetherwithallcopies,modifications,andmergedportionsthereofinanyform.
ThisLicenseAgreementwillalsoterminateuponconditionssetforthelsewhereinthisAgreementorautomaticallyin
theeventyoufailtocomplywithanytermorconditionofthisLicenseAgreement.Youherebyagreeuponsuch
terminationtodestroytheLicensedProgram(s)togetherwithallcopies,modifications,andmergedportionsthereofin
anyform.
Limited Warranty
TheLicensedProgram(s),i.e.thetangibleproprietarysoftware,isprovided,"ASIS"WITHOUTWARRANTYOFANY
KIND,EITHEREXPRESSEDORIMPLIEDANDEXPLICITLYEXCLUDINGANYIMPLIEDWARRANTIESOFMERCHANTABILITY
ORFITNESSFORAPARTICULARPURPOSE.TheentireriskastothequalityandperformanceoftheLicensedProgram(s)
iswithyou.
Somejurisdictionsdonotallowtheexclusionoflimitedwarranties,and,inthosejurisdictionstheaboveexclusionsmay
notapply.ThisLimitedWarrantygivesyouspecificlegalrights,andyoumayalsohaveotherrightswhichvaryfromone
jurisdictiontoanother.
ECEdoesnotwarrantthatthefunctionscontainedintheLicensedProgram(s)willmeetyourrequirementsorthatthe
operationoftheprogramwillbeuninterruptedorerrorfree.
ECEdoeswarrant,however,thattheCDROM,i.e.thetangiblephysicalmediumonwhichtheLicensedProgram(s)is
furnished,tobefreefromdefectsinmaterialsandworkmanshipundernormaluseforaperiodofninety(90)days
fromthedateofdeliverytoyouasevidencedbyacopyofyourreceipt.

ECEwarrantsthatanyprogramerrorswillbefixedbyECE,atECE'sexpense,assoonaspossibleaftertheproblemis
reportedandverified.However,onlythosecustomerscurrentontheirannualsubscriptioncontractsareeligibleto
receivethecorrectedversionoftheprogram.
Entire Agreement
ThiswrittenAgreementconstitutestheentireagreementbetweenthepartiesconcerningtheLicensedProgram(s).No
agent,distributor,salesman,orotherpersonactingorrepresentingthemselvestoactonbehalfofECEhasthe
authoritytomodifyorsupplementthelimitedwarrantcontainedherein,noranyoftheotherspecificprovisionsofthis
Agreement,andnosuchmodificationsorsupplementsshallbeeffectiveunlessagreedtoinwritingbyanofficerofECE
havingauthoritytoactonbehalfofECEinthisregard.
Limitations of Remedies
ECE'sentireliabilityandyourexclusiveremedyshallbe:
1.ThereplacementofanyCDROMnotmeetingECE's"LimitedWarranty"asdefinedhereinandwhichisreturnedto
ECEwithacopyofyourreceipt,or
2.IfECEisunabletodeliverareplacementCDROMwhichisfreeofdefectsinmaterialsorworkmanshipyoumay
terminatethisLicenseAgreementbyreturningtheLicensedProgram(s)andassociateddocumentationandyouwillbe
refundedallthemoniespaidtoECEtoacquiretheLicensedProgram(s).
INNOEVENTWILLECEBELIABLETOYOUFORANYDAMAGES,INCLUDINGANYLOSTPROFITS,LOSTSAVINGS,AND
OTHERINCIDENTALORCONSEQUENTIALDAMAGESARISINGOUTOFTHEUSEORINABILITYTOUSETHELICENSED
PROGRAM(S)EVENIFECEHASBEENADVISEDOFTHEPOSSIBILITYOFSUCHDAMAGES,ORFORANYCLAIMBYANY
OTHERPARTY.
SOMEJURISDICTIONSDONOTPERMITLIMITATIONOREXCLUSIONOFLIABILITYFORINCIDENTALAND
CONSEQUENTIALDAMAGESSOTHATTHEABOVELIMITATIONANDEXCLUSIONMAYNOTAPPLYINTHOSE
JURISDICTIONS.FURTHERMORE,ECEDOESNOTPURPORTTODISCLAIMANYLIABILITYFORPERSONALINJURYCAUSED
BYDEFECTSINTHECDROMOROTHERPRODUCTSPROVIDEDBYECEPURSUANTTOTHISLICENSEAGREEMENT.
General
Youmaynotsublicense,assignortransferyourrightsunderthisLicenseAgreementortheLicensedProgram(s)except
asexpresslyprovidedintheLicenseAgreement.Anyattemptotherwisetosublicense,assignortransferanyofthe
rights,dutiesorobligationshereunderisvoidandconstitutesabreachofthisLicenseAgreementgivingECEtherightto
terminateasspecifiedherein.ThisAgreementisgovernedbythelawsoftheStateofIllinois,UnitedStatesofAmerica.
Theinitiallicensefeeincludesone(1)yearofsupport,maintenance,andenhancementstotheprogram.Afterthefirst
1yearterm,suchupdatesandsupportareoptionalatthethencurrentupdatefee.
QuestionsconcerningthisLicenseAgreementandallnoticeshereinshallbemadebycontactingECEinwritingatECE,

Export Restrictions
YouacknowledgetheSoftwareissubjecttoU.S.exportjurisdiction.Youagreetocomplywithallapplicable
internationalandnationallawsthatapplytotheSoftware,includingtheU.S.ExportAdministrationRegulations,aswell
asenduser,enduse,anddestinationrestrictionsissuedbyU.S.andothergovernments.Foradditionalinformationsee

databaseforprojectneeds.Ithasutilitiesthatenable:
ViewingandExtractingMaterialTakeoffsPLANTMO has a Grid Manager to completely control

how component data is displayed. Users can customize views to meet their viewing and extraction
requirements. Excel style filters are available so users can reduce the selection set to their exacting
needs before exporting to Excel.

ExcelspreadsheetscreatedbyanyEnterpriseResourcePlanning(ERP)system,orsupplied
bymaterialvendors.PLANTMOwillupdatethepricingofeveryiteminaCADWorxmodel
anddisplaytotalsonanyMaterialTakeOff.
UpdatingCADWorxPartNumbersPLANTMOenablesPartNumber(DB_CODE)updatesin
theModelbasedonaLongDescriptionorLongDescription/SizeMatch.Thisfunctionality
negatestheneedtomaintainPartNumbersinseparate(db.dat)textfiles.Nowitis
possibletoautomaticallyupdateapartnumberbaseduponamanufacturer,vendor,or
enterprisesystemchangeforanycomponent.
RequisitioningMaterialsPreDesignPLANTMOcreatesandstoresmaterialrequisitions
thatcanbeusedtohelpgetmaterialspurchasedbeforeanyCADDesignbegins.
RequisitionManagementPLANTMOprovidesawayforprojectmanagersandengineersto
createandotherwisetrackrequisitionsagainstprojects.Atanypointduringaproject
PLANTMOwillcomparewhathasbeenrequisitionedagainstwhatisrequiredaccordingto
CADWorxModels.ThisdiscrepancyreportingsystemprovidestheMaterialControls
necessaryduringanentireprojectlifecycle.

TheImportLegacyAccessProjectwizardwillestablishanewprojectfolderinauserdefined
storagelocationbaseduponaLegacyintelligentCADWorxprojectdatabase.Alongwiththe
LegacyDatabase,allfilesandfoldersrequiredbyPLANTMOwillbecreated.Allexistingdrawing
filesandfoldersrelativetotheLegacydatabasemustbemanuallycopiedthroughWindows
ExplorerintothenewProjectFolder.Simplyfollowthewizardstepstocreateanewprojectbased
uponanexistingdatabaseandthencopyintherequireddrawingfiles.
Note
PLANTMOwillbemodifyingthenewdatabasetoensurealltherequiredtablesand
fieldsexist.Inaddition,PLANTMOwilladdalltherequiredfoldersandpopulatethem
withtemplatesfromtheSeeddatabase.AnyexistingExceltemplates,AutoCAD
drawingsoranyotherfileswillhavetobemovedorcopiedintothenewproject
