1.0 Executive Summary The basic problem in the food service industry is that restaurants are not realizing efficiencies that would result from better applications of technology in their daily operations. Every restaurant has counter where you can place your order and then make the payment. So every restaurant needs an employee for taking the order and processing the payment. Labor rates are increasing every now and then and it is difficult to find employees in the middle of the highway, hence to solve this problem we plan to design a "Touch Screen Waiter System." Touch screen waiter is an interactive table that provides restaurant patrons with the ability to view and order from a touch sensitive, digitized menu. The glass surface reacts only to finger touches meaning an accidental swipe of cutlery or dishes wont unintentionally beckon a server. Touch screen waiter is designed to help restaurant operate smoothly. Touch screen waiter can be operated to finger. Temperatureegulated device monitors maintain the internal temperature assuring sate operation of the monitor. Market Segment Targeting

POS systems also differentiate themselves through their target markets: the sales needs of a retail business differ greatly from those of a restaurant or a hotel. These differences are handled through specialized software for each market segment, which minimizes complexity by only displaying relevant business information to each employee and manager in the business operation.
