Julie Lemieux is a versatile, performance-driven professional with over 12 years of experience in software development, business analysis and project coordination for the Canadian government. Ms. Lemieux has worked on all phases of the software development lifecycle from requirements analysis to design, development and implementation. Her technical background in system analysis and application development gives her a sound understanding of the challenges and risks in IT Projects. PROJECT: Political Entity Registration System (PERS) CLIENT: Elections Canada ROLE: Team Leader / Developer RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide leadership, support, guidance and mentoring to a team of 6 developers and Elections Canada clients. Chaired team and project steering meetings. Authored the meeting agenda and minutes. Maintained the team project schedules for the Design, Construction and Testing phases Co-authored, along with the Business Analysts, the Application Design Document Worked with the database programmer to define the application data requirements and external system access points Developed, in cooperation with the PERS development team, the web components of the PERS application based on the system specifications.
