Old Testament Introduction for SM Bi 521

A survey of the Old Testament text, authorship, and its canonical development. Special emphasis will be devoted to the destructive nature of higher critical theories. This course will introduce the student to the Old Testament Canon as divine revelation to man and to the history of Old Testament studies as part of man’s struggle with God.
