Global Translation Initiative

The Global Translation Initiative is a project of English PEN, Free Word, and the Dalkey Archive Press. These partners are working together to document the current state of translation into English by identifying specific obstacles as well as sites of opportunity. The GTI is informed by the annual International Translation Day conference, held every September at the Free Word Centre in London. This collection consists of the two reports published by GTI partners - an interim report and a final report of the project.
