Evidence Against Brian Senewiratne by Dr Romesh Senewiratne-Alagaratnam

In 1995 my father Brian Senewiratne framed me as "mentally ill" when I started speaking out about his support of the Tamil Tigers and his campaign to talk up the war in Sri Lanka. He did this by sending faxes of handwritten letters to a Tamil psychiatrist in Melbourne by the name of Rajan Thomas. Other members of my family lent their support to the campaign to have me diagnosed as mad, namely my older sister and her boyfriend, Robert Purssey, who was working as a psychiatry registrar and "knew the system" in addition to my father's friend Dr Chelvarayan Barr-Kumarakulasinghe, who also knew the system and was high up in the Tamil Tiger medical hierarchy. These three made the referrals, my father provided the false and misleading information - and the framing was complete. I didn't know the system, or how it worked, since I was a GP in private practice, and the letters were written behind my back asking that they be secret. It was only years later that I obtained them under Freedom of Information. When I read the documents obtained under FOI, I was surprised to find copies of documents that had been stolen from my house by Purssey in 1996, and letters admitting that he had taken these documents from my house when I was locked up at Monash Medical Centre on 29 Feb 1996. These included original theoretical work on sociology, mind-body medicine, psychoimmunology and integrative neuroscience. The FOI release also contained several letters written by Purssey as well as a series of type-written "reports" by my father (from 1999 onward) in which my father claimed that: "Since about 1995, Romesh has been putting forward a large number of theories to address a variety of issues which involve the mind, body, brain structure and function, the Macfarlane Burnet Institute, psychiatric illnesses, cultural, social and political problems both here and in other countries (most recently, East Timor), to mention but a few. These expansive thoughts have been strung along in an incomprehensible manner. He goes on to offer solutions to all these problems - solutions which he claims are original". You can find the work that so befuddled my father in my e-books on Scribd, and explanations on the work on my YouTube site.
