Prior to that she spent time as a deputy managing editor at FiLife.com, a defunct personal finance website. She also served as a news editor at CNBC and spent a decade at Dow Jones, where she wrote a weekly personal finance column. She was also a regular contributor to The Wall Street Journal's small-business and health cost columns at the start of her career.
