Description

Expect to pay more for your running water here on Oahu going forward. Higher water rates kicked in this month, and they will continue to climb over the next five years. The rate increases will help pay for an upgrade to our aging water system. There are miles of old trasmission water lines and pumps that need to be replaced. Today we sit down with Ernie Lau, the Board of Water Supply's Chief Engineer, to talk about what lies ahead.
