Even on Harley Davidson's own website it can be hard to navigate and understand what components and wiring kits you need to actually purchase based on your needs.   Information/Set Up If you run stage 1 speakers up front and in the rear (passenger) then you just need one 4 channel Boom Audio amplifier mounted in the front fairing. One channel goes to each speaker. If you want to run the stage 2 speakers in front and rear then you will need an additional amplifier in the rear mounted in a saddlebag. Each front fairing stage 2 speaker runs on two channels on the 4 channel amp. One channel goes to the mid-range on the speakers and one to the tweeter. Yes, you can also add additional saddlebag lid speakers, powered by the rear 4 channel amp. One channel goes to each of the 4 rear speakers (passenger & lid speakers). Note: If you choose the upgrade with a Boom Audio amplifier then a Dealer Digital Technician software update is required.
