QUESTION: When will we have iPads? ANSWER: The first set of iPads went into a classroom today. We hope to have all iPads in classes by Sep 1. QUESTION: Will kids take them home? ANSWER: Not initially, but we plan to experiment with a take-home program in upper elementary later in the year. QUESTION: How will we assess the success of the iPad program? ANSWER: Defining and measuring success is complicated We believe the iPads will result in increased time spent using technology in new and meaningful ways iPads are powerful creation and publishing devices too You will all have an opportunity to see many of the things that your child is learning/creating on the iPad We think youll be impressed!
