INTRODUCTION
A Study on distribution channel in paper industry of DELTA PAPER MILLS. This study which i have done in two phases. 1) Phase I. Collecting data from distributors. 2) Phase II Analyse the data and given feedback to Delta Paper Mills company.

NEED FOR THE STUDY

Gathering and distributing market research for marketing plans. Finding and communicating with prospective distributors. Transporting and storing goods. Acquiring and using funds to cover the costs of the distribution channel.

OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY

To study the role of Delta Paper Mill in paper mill industry. To observe the channel of distribution being practiced by Delta Paper Mills limited. To make appropriate suggestions for the improvement of the organization. To find out the problems faced by the channels of distribution.

METHODOLOGY
The requisite data been gathered through two important sources: 1.Primate Data Primary data collected from retailers through questionnaire. Information, which has been gathering for the first time, called as primary data. 2. Secondary Data Secondary data is the data collected by others. As for the study of secondary data was collected from company reports, reference books, magazines, newspapers, trade and Govt. publications and various books and records from the marketing departments Sample size : 23 Sampling unit : Bhimavaram, Palakol,Rajahmundry.Thadepallegudem,Tanuku

LIMITATIONS
Data collection had some hurdles due to large size of organization. The scope of my study is limited to some areas. First, there was time constraint since this study had to complete in a limited period of 45 days Due to behavioral constraint of distributors , it took lot of time in collecting information.

FINDINGS
Majority of the Distributors, nearly 60 to 70% were satisfied with the products. Quality of papers are moderate and the margins are good. Delta Paper Mill is the largest producer of paper in west Godavari. Most of the transportation of paper roles is being done by the hired vehicles. Most of the paper was used by the government supplied text books.

SUGGESTIONS
The rewards and incentives are limited in this organization, they must increase it. They must adopt new technologies. They must decrease their overheads. They should come with environment friendly programs. They must maintain inter personal relationships.

CONCLUSION
From this project I have learned the distribution of Delta Paper Mill products to various distributors and so I got a platform to implement my theoretical concepts into practical and gained a good experience.

In future Delta Paper Mills company will become a leading player in the paper industry.
