The Box is a television channel based in the UK and Ireland. The box is one of many from The Box Television Network. This channel mainly broadcasts music videos, it also features other music related form 4music. The channel runs 24hours, during the day The Box broadcasts music alongside their music video and during the night and early morning broadcasts teleshopping. Some of the music's shows that The Box shows are: fresh music top 10/UKHOT40/TOP 40/ TOP 20/URBAN TOP 20/RnB TOP 20 This channel is very similar to 4music and Smash Hits this is because they are provide b the same company however The Box focuses on all music genres

Smash Hit
Smash Hit! Is a British commercial television channel

that provides by Box Television, the channel broadcasts general pop music in shows such as chartbusters which is recent music and Pop Domination which is new and old music. It also shows other programmes such as themed countdowns and charts such as Top 50 Boy bands. The channel also have hours dedicated to the former smash hit magazine which was owned by EMAP.

VIVA
In the UK and Ireland, VIVA launched on 26 October

2009 replacing The Music Factory (TMF) VIVA was originally a German music and entertainment channel. The music channels shown are viva playlist official singles charts official UK urban Top 20, This Week Via top 20, official chart update and Viva online chart. As well as music shows Viva also plays programmes such as Jersey Shore, 16 and pregnant, the hills , teen mom and my sweet 16.

As well as having the MTV programme they also have other channels such as MTV Base, MTV hits, MTV dance and MTV Rocks

4music is a music and entertainment channel in the

UK and available on some digital television providers in the republic of Ireland. It is the only channel with in the Box Television Network to be branded under channel and is one of the of the only channels in the network to be broadcast in widescreen. This channel replaced the hits. It is available on freeview, virgin media and sky This channel broadcasts 24hrs day

B4U
Was launched in 1999 The channel broadcast a mixture of contemporary

Bollywood, indipop, bhangra and international music. The programmes include star interviews, artist profiles concerts and charts rundown as well as video requires shows. There are 4 different channels available in the UK, north America and the middle east and south Asia. Each version of the channel produces a quantity of local programmes which reflects the culture and tastes of the local population of the Indian Diaspora Form 2008 the UK Asian music awards have been produced and broadcasts by the channels

Zing Music
Formally known as Zee Music is an India based music

channel owned by Zee Entertainment Enterprises which broadcasts in Hindi. As well as broadcasting in south Asia it also reaches audience in Europe. Was first launched in 19927 as music Asia re-launced as Zee music in 2000 revamped in 2005 finally repackages as Zing in April 2009 Zing targets the urban young Indians

My choice
My chosen channel will B4u, Zing and MTV this is

because I think that my target audience will watch these channels. B4U and Zing will be my first choices this is because they show a mixture of different videos. And my target audience will watch these channel the most. Ive chosen MTV as my music video will feature that urban and British artists therefore more people will see my music video
