1996-98 Refined protocol for high vigor cotton seed production at FSC/ARI, Tando Jam. 1998-2000 Developed novel technique for pedigreed seed production of cross-pollinated crops. 2000-02 Evolved procedure for decoding of commercial hybrids to recover CMS, Restorer and parent lines. 2002-04 Finalized mechanism of fast-track breeding under managed environment. 2004-05 Refined rapid multiplication techniques for cotton and tomato. 2005-07 Completed methodology for fast-track development of hybrids in cotton, tomato and chili. 2007-09 Formulated synchronization techniques for low-cost chemical hybridizing agents (CHA) with fruit enhancer chemicals (FEC). 2008-10 Developed and tested Bt-cotton hybrids and tomato hybrids at BSC & SPSC farms. 2009-10 Published grafting and plug nursery production protocols for vegetable crops. 2010 Country-wide demonstration of low-cost CHA and FEC for hybrid cotton seed production. 2011 Trials conducted at NARC farm on low-cost CHA for canola, cauliflower, turnip and radish. 2011 Formal establishment of Unico Seedtech Company for promotion of hybrid seed technologies.
