Pure malt / grain The malt/grain whisky in the bottle is from two or more different malts/grains and different distilleries. Blended Scotch: A blended scotch contains a combination of malt and grain whiskies of various ages from different distilleries. e.g. Johnnie Walker, J&B, Famous Grouse. The stated age of a Blend refers to the age of the youngest malt or grain whisky in the blend.
